This is NOT a wide width shoe. I have wide feet and these didn't feel any wider than my regular width Salmon Speedcross shoes. If you have wide feel look elsewhere.

If the heels were any larger on these they could be jackboots.

My first pair was super comfortable, but the lugs wore flat in about 3 months of use. I bought 3 pair as replacements. Two are still in the box (black and green size 8.5) and the purple pair caused such horrible blisters that they are gathering dust in the closet. What changed Salomon?? Tehse used to be amazing shoes. So disappointing.

These are super comfortable, although they do seem to run a little wide and long. My issue is that the lugs are completely worn out on the heel and ball of the foot after only 4 months of no more than 2 hikes (3-ish miles on soft dirt trails).

I bought a size 6 1/2 but the shoes are too long and feel more like a 7. The soles are very hard and the toe box is very narrow so the ball of my foot feels sore and my toes feel very pinched. I took out the manufacturer's insoles and replaced them with another brand and still my feet hurt. I am short and petite and these shoes look huge on me. I will keep wearing them just because I paid so much for them, but I will never buy this brand again.

Bought these in preparation for the Camino de Santiago. Have only logged 120 miles on them and have already worn down 4 of the rubber "nubs" on the bottom. Def not worth the money, but luckily found out before I took them on my Camino!

When are you going to bring back all the great color combinations you used to have? I've been waiting many years. Remember the teal and yellow, Orange and blue, tired of these boring colors as of lately

A few months after I bought these shoes the uppers started disintegrating! First they would crack in a number of places. Then they would start peeling away. I've never had shoes fall apart like this especially after just a few months time. Very disappointed in this product. Would not recommend to anyone!

I bought the shoes last month. Unfourtunately, the size didnt fit me. I have always bought size 7.5 but these shoes are bigger than my old ones which are 7.5 too. I have always used Salomon, I love the Speedcross, but i cant use these last ones.
