Great shoe but I had expected it to be warmer in the winter. I had an old pair of Salomons and they were much warmer.

Bought these they are great if I could change one thing they would be perfect. Not a fan of the white soles. Black would be perfect

I really like this shoe. It's a cool look and great tread on the bottom for all kinds of trail. but sadly the sizing is larger then I expected. I am a 7.5/8 and I ordered a 7.5 but the shoes are too big.

I run on dirt roads and like to hike and these are perfect for both. My big complaints are that they are super hot even with thin socks and I do actually prefer shoelaces over the quicklace system as they are difficult to use when dirty. The toe box is perfect for me and they handle rough terrain like a champ. I feel they are extremely supportive of the ankle as well.

I received these 3 days ago in size 8.5 as that's what my other 6 pair of Salomon shoes have been. But because the last pair of Speedcross 4 were too narrow and I had to give them away to a daughter, I ordered the Speedcross 5 in my same size in Wide. After walking 2/20km, I had to add another insole and they are still a bit to long. I love the width, support, comfort but will now have to order an 8 W as I really like the overall feel of the shoe. It is unfortunate that during the pandemic and isolation, we cannot try them on prior to ordering but I thought after all the years of wearing an 8.5 they would work!

J?esp?re juste que le tissu sera plus r?sistant que les 4 qui se sont d?chir?es facilement.

Trs satisfaite. J utilisais les speed cross 4 depuis une paire d'annes et je suis passe celles ci, les speed cross 5 depuis un mois et j en suis trs satisfaite, maintien du pied, amorti, tenue sur terrain trs gras, c est tout ce dont j'ai besoin pour mes sorties dans les bois sur terrain boueux. J'espre juste que le tissu sera plus rsistant que les 4 qui se sont dchires facilement.

I am on my fourth pair of either Speedcross 4's or 5's. I absolutely love them! I now have the gortex version which is great for winter trail running. I live in Boulder, CO near the mountains so I run up in the mountains 2-3x a week. The big lugs on the bottom grip the trail whether muddy, snowy, or dry and loose. I feel amazingly secure in these shoes and they fit like a glove! I've also hiked all over the world, and wont travel without these. My go-to adventure shoes. Biggest problem is the bottoms wear out too fast, even when I am trying to preserve them by not running on the streets or sidewalks. I wish they could make the grippy bottoms in a slightly harder material that lasted longer. Mine last about 6 months, and I dont run/hike long miles or wear them for anything but trail runs.

I bought this product not so long ago And the insoles move around a lot and end up rubbing my feet. This then causes blisters and I have to use these shoes for suture events too.

Der Schuh ist echt richtig gut, er ist super bequem, erhht die Trittsicherheit, sieht gut aus und ist leicht. Leider nutzt sich die Sohle sehr schnell ab und bei einem Model (wir haben 4 gekauft) ist der Schuh trotz Goretex undicht gewesen.

Un bon amorti, une tr?s bonne accroche avec une belle sensation de pr?cision sur les obstacles. Plus stable que les pr?c?dentes avec un confort jamais atteint auparavant sur les anciennes s?ries. La languette recouvre parfaitement le pied.

I have a few pairs of the Speedcross and they fit my foot perfectly. I just wish that Salomon would make bright colors for women that don't have pink, purple or teal on them. Love my new red ones! :)

These shoes are so comfortable and fit me perfect. However after only five months of walking on sand packed trails they developed a tear where the fabric meets the rubberized toe box. Based on my current less than normal use, it must be a defect. I've been wearing Salomon hikers, x/c skiing boots for forty plus years in VT and have always been extremely pleased with everything about Salomons products. My previous pair of trail runners lasted eleven years of daily use in the rugged VT mountains. This pair however lasted five months in the NJ pine barrens where the trails are flat packed sand!!!

I did my first Spartan Race this weekend. At the place where I was training they highly recommend this shoes, I only used them twice for a training and on the race day.. as I was cleaning them I noticed a small ripped on one of the shoes.. for the price that I paid I was totally expecting more durability. I just got them not even 2 mths ago

I am on my second pair of Speedcross 5 and, unfortunately, the lugs and soles wore down very quickly on both pairs. I love the fit and function of this shoe, but the lugs and soles are such a disappointment. I don't think I will buy another pair, but wish I could. Any chance you'll change the composition?
