Long - shoulders are narrow. Built for a tall, thin guy, no deltoids.

A very solid jacket. The collar was too tall for me, but that might be a personal preference. I felt like it was coming up over my face.

My second Marmot rain jacket. Fits great, looks even better. Really flattering.

The rain gear that I purchased speaks for itself but the management that claims that the "STRIVE" to keep customers happy leaves a lot to be desired.

Great rain jacket. I wore it at Disneyland this past weekend, during a torrential rainstorm, and it kept me dry the whole time. Its light, comfortable, and easy to stuff into its pocket and tossing into a backpack.

I needed a rain jacket and thought this was a good buy for the sale price. I can't attest to the water resistance yet, but thought I'd throw some pics on for gals looking for insight on what size to order (I scoured the reviews for this because the sizing can be wonky). For ref, I'm 5'3" 170 lbs, 35" waist, 41" hips, 38 DD, and I ordered an XXL. I'm wearing a cropped lightweight hoodie under the jacket and leggings in the pics.

I've had my Precip Eco jacket for about three years now. I use it mainly for backpacking and fly fishing. It is super lightweight and packs easily. I have been rained on many times while wearing it and find it more than adequate for lightweight rain protection. That being said, I wouldn't want to be in a steady rain for a pro longed period of time. It will eventually soak through. Only takes minutes to dry if you are not in wet weather. For the price I have found to be a very solid piece of my back country gear. Goes well with casual wear also. With all the choices out there if you can buy this on sale for 59-69 dollars you can't go wrong. Zippers are holding up well and no tearing anywhere including seams.

I have not tried it in rain yet. Its for my wet running days. Fits well like all Marmot products do. I have been a Marmot buyer for years and love their selections, quality and prices.

The Precip is light and reliable. The hood tucks away conveniently and the fit is true to size - medium for 511 and 178 lbs.

I like the color but noisy due to material. I have some room to layer but not a ton. I got the small. I am five feet five and 120.

I bought this jacket because of its packability. If you have the money, go for the Driclime. This jacket feels stiff. my $10 rain jacket from Costco feels smoother than this one, The size is perfect for a overcoat, there is a bit of room for a inner layer.

In a short time the interior began to deteriorate, releasing white particles.
In addition, it has completely lost its waterproofness, possibly due to damage to the laminate.
The quality of this product does not correspond at all to what Marmot claims to have.

Purchased the PreCip Eco Jacket and finally had the chance to use it when a tropical storm came our way. The jacket kept me nice and dry but there was one thing that I was disappointed about. There is no inside pocket. I thought there was when I first looked, in fact I put my parking stub in what I thought was the inside pocket only to discover it had fallen on the floor about 5 minutes later. Thank goodness I saw it or I would have had to pay the full 24 hour parking cost even though I was only parked for about an hour. I realized that what I though were inside pockets were in fact, the pockets for the outer pockets. Why didn't you sew the bottom of one of the outside pocket liners to the jacket then it could double as an inside pocket. Basically this jacket only has two pockets, both on the outside where your hands would go. I think I'm like most people and prefer an inside pocket for things like phones, parking stubs, that sort of thing. I would recommend this jacket if you don't need an inside pocket.

This jacket has exceeded my expectations in every way. The waterproof material keeps me completely dry, even during heavy downpours. Its lightweight design makes it comfortable to wear without feeling bulky, and the hood provides excellent protection without obstructing my vision. Additionally, the jackets breathability ensures that I stay comfortable and dry, even during strenuous activities.

I bought a PreCip jacket in the very early 1990's. It was nearly always my windbreaker/rain jacket of choice. Being a Scoutmaster and living within an hour of the Cascades, Mt. Rainier, and the Olympics I considered it a necessity. This year the weather proof layer was sluffing off. This jacket has a lifetime warranty. I filed a claim and Marmot honored it.with a healthy discount. I now have a new jacket.spending far less than the original jacket cost. New (improved design) jacket fits and feels about the same as my original. You need to have a great jacket and this not only is a great design but the warranty makes it worth the time and money. I figured that original jacket was about $2.58 per year to own.

I have had the jacket about a year and like the fit, weight and light rain protection. Unfortunately the inside has delaminated and throws little white specks everywhere. I wore a navy blue sweater recently under the jacket and it appeared that I had terrible dandruff when I took the jacket off. The jacket is no longer useable. Bye bye $100.

In just a few years, this jacket started delaminating. Now every time I wear it, little white flakes get everywhere. So guess what? I never wear it.
A hundred bucks, poorly spent...

Jacket is fine. Shipping took almost a week longer than the guaranteed delivery window, which was extremely disappointing.
