Have been using Merrell minimalist running shoes for 7 years, this pair is so comfortable just as expected. A little more sole than the originals provide great traction on trails and protect my feet. Have many versions and colors to keep me going. Thanks Merrell!

This is a beautiful, lightweight and very comfortable sneaker. If you're looking for a wide toebox this has it. Ordinarily I order about a half size larger but in this case I did not have to.

This is the second pair of this shoe that I have owned. I love how light weight it is and fits my foot perfectly.

After purchasing 3 other brands and styles of hiking sneakers before a trip to the NC & TN mountains, I received my 1st barefoot shoe ever thinking they wouldn't have enough support for a long hike but could be a nice walking around town sneaker. I was wrong. These were so comfortable on hikes they are all I wore. I have bunions and flat feet and other shoes hurt so much but these super comfortable. I will reserve my 2nd pair for non muddy surfaces because they are super cute on too!! I did get a blister when I tried to run in them. Could be I needed to tie them tighter or just wrap that part of my bunion but don't plan on running in them again.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes. I have been wearing Merrells running shoes, clogs and sandals for years and enjoyed them a lot. I love the barefoots. I love being able to adjust my gait to the ground with careful form. The last pair of Barefoots I bought were thinner than any others I had used and I was feeling the asphalt and trail more than was comfortable. I was advised to get these and they are perfect. I have bunions, which make my feet wide in the front, though they are not in the back. The toe box accommodates the front of my foot well and the back is still comfortable and doesn't slip because, I think , of some good design where the shoes are tied. I got the black shoes and they are more elegant than the photographs of them, which is handy, so I can take a long walk in some nicer clothes when necessary.

Great shoes I put in many steps at work daily and these are the best like walking barefoot but better!!

This is the shoe I've been looking for. It is so comfortable. The heel is very cushioned. The toe box is roomy and it has good arch support. I liked the first pair I bought so well that I purchased another.

I bought this shoe because I had an older version ( 6 years ago) which I still wear and love. This is a very llight weight shoe. It's great for walks. I am on my feet at work most of the day and I now have made them my work shoe. After a full day of work my feet feel great . I plan to buy another pair for everyday. You can't go wrong with this shoe.

I really like these. The fit was true to size. I am 43 and my feet have spread over the years. I am really picky as I have a hard time finding a shoes that are comfortable enough to be on my feet all day. These were great right out of the box. They are a comfortable casual shoe for everyday wear.

These shoes are so cute and comfortable. I wear them all day at work. I always get compliments whenever I wear them!

I have mortons neuroma and turf toe from years of being hard on my feet during lots of adventures! These shoesare a barefoot style that allow my toes to spread out and also have very good arch support.

I hate wearing socks and shoes, however, the trail glove is so comfortable. I love wearing these shoes for walking and hiking. My feet are well protected by the soles, yet have the flexibility and breathability of being barefoot. The shoe color is vibrant, I love it!

I will love these shoes! I purchased them for walking around the neighborhood and a little bit of trail walking nothing too intense but they are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. No problems thus far. Would definitely purchase again.

I found the shoes had a surprising amount of support. The arch is great. The shoe fits snug without constriction on toes. The toe box is roomy and allows the food to spread. I have used with thin and thick socks and found either is comfortable.

I live this shoe!! I have 3 pairs that I rotate out for work during the week. My feet aren't tired or sore when I get home!! The best part is I have high arches and this shoe actually touches/supports the highest point of my arches!! For the last 10 years, I only wear Merrell shoes to work. The gentleman at the Merrell store knows he's my "shoe guy"!!

my only complaint on this style is the toe area is a bit wide - other than that they fit as expected & are very comfortable to walk in

After walking and standing in shoes without adequate support, I was literally limping. I was searching for a walking shoe that had great support. I'm an old lady, but I don't like to dress like one, so the look of the shoes had to be perfect too. I have been wearing the shoes for walking for about a week. No more limping! I love the fun design too!

These shoes are exactly what I was looking for, I did buy my size and had to order a 1/2 size smaller like suggested in the description. I was looking for something that felt like barefoot but with some support. These were just what I want.

Love these shoes, they are the perfect balance full barefoot-style minimalism and something more supportive, just the right amount of arch support for my feet. For me they ran an entire size large, I normally wear an 8 and I ended up with a 7. Now that I found the right fit I may buy a second pair.

Ordered down 1/2 a size as recommended and fit is good, possibly slightly tight, barefoot. Would not be able to wear with a thin pair of socks. Believe size 9, which I normally wear would have been ok. Love the orange/gold color!!

Due to the description stating that the Trail Glove 5 is larger than the Trail Glove 4 (with reviews stating that Trail Glove 4 fit true to size), I ordered a half size down from my regular running shoe size. I had half a thumbs width of space between my big toe and the edge of the shoe so I definitely could have gone with my regular size. I did not want to wait for the exchange so decided to keep the shoe as I will primarily use it for walking on hikes in LA. There is a hard piece on the arch of the sole of the shoe. You can feel it when you're standing still, but as others reviewers have stated, you don't notice it at all when you're in motion. I tested these shoes out on a 10 mile hike (roads mixed between fire lane/cement roads to dirt trails with rocks) and the shoes had good grip. Despite the small shoe size, I am very happy with this purchase.

Out of the box fit perfect. I ordered a half size small as they run large. Light, cool, the instep is built from outside not an uncomfortable lump inside. Strong solid grip. Stretch shoe strings add to comfort with a little give. The heel did not rub, first trip on the trail and every time since amazed at comfort. Fun, fun color. Love this shoe.

I normally wear a 6.5 but ordered a 6 based on the notes. My toe is running right to the end of the shoe.....should have ordered a 6.5. These shoes have crazy fantastic arch support. I can't wait to get them in the size I need.

I bought the Goldfish color and am IN LOVE WITH THESE. I was looking for a low profile sneaker that would be supportive - and these are the perfect ones. I will be buying more colors. Just a note - THEY DO HAVE LACES. The photo makes them seem like they are a slip-on (which would be nice), but they are not.
