Shoes are comfortable. Only issue is with the laces. They easily get untied.

Nice shoe but needs additional insole. The insole included is very hard.

I wore these on a trip to Ethiopia. They were comfortable and good for walking and hiking. The price was fair.

Comfortable and seem pretty rugged. Can't speak to longevity yet but feel well made. Knot stays tight and doesn't losen and untie. Feel a little clunky compared to other hiking shoes but worked well. I have had several pairs of merrel shoes in tje past and they have always performed well.

I took my first pair of Merrells to the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. This new pair went to Starved Rock State Park and trekked 14miles thru the many canyons. Rugged, grippy and just right for most adventures.

I get Merrells for my work shoes. I am in the home building industry

The fit and comfort are great. The problem with this pair is the that the workmanship is not what I expected. The stitching on the toe between black rubber and the leather was frayed a bit and continues to fray. Hope they hang together. Feels a step down from the Moab. Regards, Wade

I bought these based on positive reviews. So far the good reviews on comfort and fit have been right on the money. I have plantar fasciitis so it is very difficult to find a hiker that is comfortable for my feet. After a short 2 mile walk. I can report these are good for the short duration. Reasonably priced too. I am hiking in Utah next month so I will review them again after the hike. So far no complaints.

This shoe is great! I ordered a wide and it definitely was wide. It's comfortable and rugged.

I have worn Merrell shoes and boots for years. These hikers live up to my expectations. They were all-day comfortable right out of the box! My work day keeps me on concrete and gravel throughout the day and these shoes offer support and cushioning to make that environment more tolerable. The subdued styling also works well in the business casual setting. Overall, I'm very happy with this product!

The issue I always have with Merrell is shoe laces. In the past decade, they are always to long. They are now so short that I have difficulty tying them

Wide size could be a little wider.
