I literally live in this thing. Year round its a great outer later to keep sun, wind and even light rain. It stretches and breathes. I wear this thing everywhere from on rescue, fly-fishing, the office and the campsite. Only thing I recommend is getting 2 colors so you don't ever leave home without one.

I've reviewed these before, I think this is one of my favorite pieces. I've got five or six different colors now... please stop making new colors, my children are hungry.

Favourite jacket to wear, always. Great windbreaker, adds several degrees of warmth to a sweater by blocking the wind. Durable where it counts, if I'm on the ground or walking through the woods this jacket makes me feel invulnerable. The hood on the old models was skin tight, felt like a speed skater, but this version (with thumb loops) is sized just right. When this wears out I'll be replacing it, again and again.

Like my new Ferrrosi hooded jacket. Great on cool morning walks and hiking on the weekends. Ordered a XL but end up sending it back for a L.

Finally had a chance to try out this jacket, really like the material and fit. The Cordura is nice and stretchy yet still tough enough to protect my less durable layers underneath. I'm 5'9 athletic build with a 34 in waist, the large is big enough to fit some layers under, the ability to cinch the waist in ensures the piece will stay in place. Also impressed with its ability to shed water. Wouldn't want to spend all day in the rain, but it's more than capable enough to stand up to to loght showers

Great feel, some wind protection (have worn on lots of bike rides), breathes well, and seems tough as I bush whack a lot. Size seems a little large but I've always been on the border (I'm 5'8" slim athletic build with broad shoulders). I got the medium knowing I'd layer underneath (fits my puffy fine under and allows it to loft fully!). If you want it as just a slim fitting shell and are on the border size down. Sleeves a little long and elastic near wrist is on the loose side. Love that it stays put when waist Is cinched down and doesn't ride up! DWR works well. Water beads right up Overall great soft shell.

Bought the non-hooded version for myself and loved it so much I bought the hooded version when it went on sale for my dad. For the price I don't think there's anything better when it comes to a soft-shell. He's 6'6" 220 and I got him an XL. Fits a bit roomy on him with plenty of space for another layer if needed. So far he says he loves it!

I use a soft shell as either my primary outer layer (cool but not cold) or as an inner layer (cold, under a warmer/heavier outer layer), so good enough water/wind resistance and a close fit are important; this jacket gets me both, and the weight/thickness of the material is at a good balance where it's small enough to jam in a 25L daypack for day missions, stretchy enough that I get full range of motion, and thick enough to give me some warmth and protection.

This shell is very breathable and functional. It is only a bit heavier than whisper-light shells but has a great hood and zip pockets to keep things safely stored. Fit is athletic so if you plan to wear a sweater under the shell you might consider the next size up. My only beef is the fact that the chest pocket won't fit my "almost tablet"sized phone completely - but very few pockets do.

This jacket has gotten me through hikes, bikes, runs and I cant wait to see what else! Breaks the wind well and allows for great breathability (I run hot). I also find myself using it frequently for work (PE teacher). Great functional jacket for cooler summer days. The fit is great except the sleeves are quite long. (5'10 - 175lbs for those who need reference numbers.

I absolutely LOVE this jacket ... it is lighter than I expected but this thing is bombproof thus far. I'm 6'3" and 185 and I got a large! If you don't plan to wear anything significant under it I'd say one size smaller would work well!

I purchased this for my husband, he uses it at the start and end of out hikes if it's cool weather. Also a great layer for a windy summit. It is lightweight and packs down easily into the backpack. The hood does not restrict movement in any way, and it's easier to pull on the hood than dig around looking for a hat.

I ended up returning this because it was too big. i am giving it 5 stars nonetheless because I re-ordered in a medium and am very pleased with it (I wrote a separate 5 star review for that order). I am 6'2", 185 pounds with a trim, athletic build. The large was too billowy. The medium is just right with just enough room to layer underneath.

This is a great light, breathable jacket. On its own with a thin base layer it's a good windbreaker during active pursuits on slightly cool days. It does not totally block the wind on a really windy day, but that's the trade-off for something this breathable. On colder days (temps in the 40s) it works just as well with a grid fleece mid-layer. I haven't had a chance to wear it in really cold weather (temps below 30), and only plan to do so for very active winter activity, but I expect it will perform well as a breathable wind barrier.

Truly one of the best jackets I've ever owned. Wear it over a t-shirt to get beers, hike with it, climb with it, layer it for skiing, this thing does it all.

I just took this jacket on a two week road trip, and it performed flawlessly. Great for sunny hikes in the mid 50s and over a light fleece in the low 40s. It breathes well and offers great wind protection. I'm 6'3", 190lbs slim build and the M fits great. I originally ordered a L, but returned due to the fact that it was quite baggy through the midsection. The fabric stretch allows it to fit snug over a technical tee without being being constricting. If you're on the fence, order it.

Great, this is the second one i have (i have the first one for more then 3 years). what i love in this jacket is the lightness , breathability and durability. I also like i has a features needed like adjustable hood and hem, zipper pockets etc. In short great jacket for fall / spring hikes and around town. I am 5 foot 7 and 160 and Large fit me good (not too sung so i can layer below).

Perfect balance between light and durable. Great for a slightly chilly fall morning over a tshirt or over more layers when it gets colder. Arms are long which is perfect for me. Normally have to go large in tops to get the arm length but a medium fits perfectly in every way at 6'2 and 170lbs athletic build. Going to order another one as I've never had a jacket that fits this well.
