Great all-around, do-everything softshell. Fit is trim and close, but enough room for a fleece on under in colder temps. Blocks wind so well! And I always convince myself that thumb loops are gimmicky, but I find myself using them all the time.

I'm now a Ferrosi believer... I've stood on the fence for quite some time, reading reviews and the accolades this jacket has received. Finally decided to dive in, and I am so glad I did. I wear this jacket all the time, in the outdoors, around the office and out to casual affairs. It will be a crucial piece of gear that goes with me on backpacking, scouting, hunting, camping and fishing trips. Because of how light weight it is, it's a perfect layering piece. Great spring time jacket for California as well, not too hot, not too cold. Love the stretch and love the fit. I'm an athletic built guy, 6' tall with broad shoulders and big arms, the XL fits great. I own three different colors of this jacket as well. Great job OR!

This is my 3rd Ferrosi and I've loved every single one. One complaint I've had is the sleeves being too short, so I am very glad to see that they are longer on this updated version. The torso is a good length too, although I wouldn't complain if it were an inch or so longer. I read a reviewer complain about the zippers and the stretch cuff design. I can understand why they said what they did but I personally prefer the new zippers. They seem more durable, are very sturdy, and zip up and down easier than what was on the previous version. The change in elastic location on the cuffs is due to the addition of thumb loops which required a change. I don't think it looks bad and am happy with the changes. The overall fit is a good balance. It is trim enough as to look athletic and not be baggy, but roomy enough to layer if you need and never feels restricting. I'm 165 lbs and a medium fits me great. As with every Ferrosi product-- breathes very well, protects you from the wind and cold, stretches wherever you need it to, and doesn't get too hot when you get the blood pumping. Great jacket, especially for any active outdoor activity!

Bought this jacket on a day when I had forgotten mine and it was the best jacket to dollar Ive ever purchased. its stupid light and thin the fit is very stylish and the colors go with a lot of other stuff. But it really does live up to the ferrosi hype. its breathable but wind resistant, stretchy and easy to move in but abrasion resistant and has enough pockets. dont get me wrong it is a light jacket but the versatility is unparalleled alone or maybe as a layer or as a wind breaker around a normal sweatshirt.

The jacket was much lighter than I expected but performs as promised. Definitely a spring and fall kind of coat or needs to be worn as an outer layer in the winter.

I really like the grid version of this jacket with the hood, though, which isn't online right now but it has some quirks that seem indicative of OR clothes. First, the breast pocket is a bit small or rather the space used for it is awkward (at least mine from a year ago is). Awkward or ineffective pockets seem typical for the OR clothes I have (pants, jackets, shirts). They tend to run smaller than normal, but that honestly to the detriment of the piece. (Yes, yes, we hear you ultralight, minimalist hikers in the back.) Second, the normal hand pockets are as expected but what irked me is that the material on the inside wasn't turned into drop-in pockets. Some stitching along the bottom of that material would've created two more pockets on the inside (other OR jackets have this, why not this one?). That would've been a better use of clothing and a more effective design. Third, the jacket isn't very adjustable (again, mine from a year ago; this one looks better). The cuffs, bottom of the jacket and the hood should all be adjustable to keep cold weather out. OR's down jackets, ski jackets, etc., tend to hit the mark in this area. This jacket felt like a prototype that wasn't quite ready for production. Looking at the 2022 version, it looks like some of that has been improved. The jacket fits well. It layers great. The material, for an ultralight/lightweight coat, is really flexible and weather resistant. It's got a lot of good going for it and would be a great jacket if some of these quirks were improved.

Great wind and light rain protection. It will get soaked through in heavy rain or if you're in light rain for extended period. Like it says water resistant. I'm 6'1" 185lbs. I ordered a medium but had to send it back for fit. The large was perfect. I like the extra length in the arms as I can put my hands in the sleeves instead of wearing gloves. I like the fact the hood will fit over my bike helmet; however, I need to wear a ball cap when running with the hood on to keep the hood from falling over my face. Some rear retention on the hood would be nice for use without a helmet. I prefer nylon zippers. Plastic breaks too easily. Love the breathable fabric, fit , and overall performance of the product.

I love how it feels, but a little big on XL. I'm 6'2" and 200lb.

First of all I'd size down a size. I'm generally a large 6'0" male around 185. The medium fits with layers underneath. It's a nice technical jacket with great features that I can layer stuff underneath.

Great color, material and design. Everything as expected considering this is a highly recommended OR product from multiple sources. I do struggle with OR sizing as an XL is too tight and the XXL is too baggy. With that said, XXL will now easily facilitate layering.

Breathes very well, is stretchy, resistant to light winds, and extremely comfortable. It seems like the perfect softshell for desert climbing. I'm 5'11, 145 lbs, and the fit in medium would be perfect if the sleeves were an inch shorter.

Used mostly for ski touring, as a exterior layer skinning up. Light, stretchy and very weather proof. It also stays dry. I dont bother taking it off - I just zip up my puffer and shell over it for descent Aesthetics aren't quite suitable for City/fashion use.

Like others, found the sleeves to be a bit long but not a deal breaker. Excellent jacket!

I like this jacket as an "active" layer for ski touring. I'll probably bring it on hikes as well. I was expecting a thicker softshell (closer to the Cirque II pants), but this jacket is thin. Nice choice for warmer days. Cuts wind ok and definitely kept me dry in moderately wet snowfall near freezing.

Great fit and moves with the body! Coyote brown colour looks awesome. Need one in wolf grey or any urban grey without bright coloured zippers or logo.

Used for rock climbing, light hiking, casual wear. Not the best for any one thing but good all-arounder for raw-ish weather. Breathable, decent in light wind and rain. Pockets and other features are nice. Biggest downside is the arms are fairly long. If you have short arms for your height probably look elsewhere unless you don't mind flappy arms.

Looks great and has great water resistance. Nice beading. Only reason its not 5/5 is that the sleeves are a little long, but I am a not so tall big guy.

Great jacket! I love the breathable fabric and how durable it seems. Also it has the roght amout of stretch making it really comfortable to use on any adventure or just to wear in the city. The fit is good too, im 5'8 and a small was good. Only complain is the sleeves ae a bit long and I don't have short arms. Would'd loved if the sleeves were an inch shorter. But I will certainly enjoy this jacket!
