It's like an old t-shirt you can't get rid of, but lighter and really more comforting.

This jacket preformed super well on an early spring orienteering race. Loads of light precipitation, heavy bushwhacking, and cool temperatures. Climbing through trees, I felt that the jacket was durable and never had the impression that I needed to go around anything. I wouldn't want to drag this through a thorn bush but the jacket definitely fits the bill for a no-nonsense light soft shell that can take a beating. Great breathability and good enough in light rain. We'll see how it performs after a few washes...but there is always the option of adding more DWR. Thanks for the tough duds that are just loose enough to layer an insulated mid-layer underneath.

This is a great jacket for a breezy/ chilly day. It is very light and easily packable. The DWR finish makes it nice to shed any drizzle that may happen as well. Definitely one of my favorites

This is a great jacket for cool windy summer and fall days. Keeps the wind and light rain off of you in mountain conditions. I recently used this jacket tree planting this fall and loved it. Makes a great soft shell layer to always have in the backpack.

breathable lightish material, good for active on the go wear, with a mid weight fleece goes down to 0 celsius.

The durability, breathability, and versatility of this jacket easily get 5 stars from me. This is my second one since my last one got caught in the spokes of my motorbike. I knew I had to have another one. You really can't go wrong. As long as OR makes them, I will buy them.

Much thinner, lighter material than I was expecting but exactly what I needed. While I've not owned this piece long, the lightweight material does not seem incredibly fragile and should hold up well for rockclimbing and at skiing. Took the jacket out for a hike last night and had a classic Oregon summer thunderstorm: warm and wet with a bit of a breeze. This jacket breathed super well in the warmer air and even shed the brief rain we had. No significant signs of wear on the shoulders where the backpack straps rubbed. Bought this primarily for backcountry skiing as I run super warm, can't wait to take it to the hills!

This is a great jacket for casual wear or in the Outdoors. Living in CO there are frequent summer squalls in the mountains and carry this jacket in my pack at all times. It's light and very functional

The Ferrosi Hooded Jacket is an awesome jacket- lightweight, casual, but fits well- not baggy. It's the perfect piece to take the chill off when the sun goes down on a nice day. I live in the Seattle area and I take one of these everywhere I go. That's why I now have it in 3 colors.

Really happy to have picked this up, very light flexible and breathable. Works in a variety of situations. Just a comment on sizing, I am 1.88m, 80kgs and the medium fits great. I was worried the sleeves would be too short but that's not the case.

As a durable windbreaker and lightweight soft shell, this jacket rules! It's a great layer in its own when you need a little insulation and some protection from the elements. Additionally, it's goes over my puffy easily when I want to stay extra warm.

I can't get enough of this jacket. It has exceeded my expectations for a lightweight windbreaker. It is easy to wear with layers and looks sharp. It is perfect for a summer night around the campfire.

So far this jacket has gone through a couple of brush filled cross country backpacking trips, a climb, and some light paddling and it seems to be holding up well to abuse. It is a nice weight and breaths well. I have enjoyed it as a little extra protection from the elements when anything much heavier would have been too hot.

I wear this jacket for running, rucking, range use, and general wear. It's ok in a drizzle, but not waterproof. It's not warm, but it's breathable. Very durable, close fitting, looks good. Awesome for what it's built for.

Was disappointed when I received this jacket, expecting it to be heavier weight to match the Cirque Soft Shell pants. Got the large to fit me 5'10", 180#, 42" chest, 32.5" sleeve. Thought it was a bit roomy, but the medium was just under my size. Disappointment faded when I wore it on a 4 day glacier climb. The approach hike was warm, so climbed to 8000' in base layer. Put on the jacket when we reached camp and needed no additional layers until the sun went down. It cut the wind, yet breathed and let all my sweat from the approach evaporate. Pockets are roomy and handily located. The hood is easy up and down, fits over a ball cap and a helmet equally well. When down, hood is hardly noticed. The roominess comes in when adding layers. Was able to throw on a mid-layer under the jacket and stayed warm all evening without having to don the big puffy. Staying light makes movement a cinch. No heavy layer, no binding. I literally spent 3 days on the glacier in this jacket, only donning the big puffy when the temps dropped to near zero wind chill.

All round great jacket. Used climbing, ski touring, hiking, biking and many more activities to come. Its super pack-able. Very lightweight for a soft-shell. Haven't been in a downpour but its performed well in light showers so far.

As with all the FERROSI line I love the stretchability of the fabric and the durability of the fabric. With the proper base layer underneath this jacket ; dependent on conditions; it works fantastic.I like the way the hood is situated when pulled up; no lack of vision from too much overhang.I love the way the jacket is tailor cut.I use the jacket pretty much for everything! I was so satisfied I bought a second jacket for rotational purposes; and four pair of the FERROSI shorts.THANK YOU O.R.
