Amazing shoe, but strange cut. Very wide heel area with very narrow toe box. I even ordered wide and coudn’t keep the shoe on my heel, and toe box still too tight.... Back they went. Thank you Zapppos for always being AMAZING!!

Let me start by saying that I normally wear a size 12 in women's running shoes. I have a pair of Arahi 2 men's that I use for walking and I like them. Have been looking for a pair of all around running shoes just to wear around. Tried the women's Clifton 5 in size 12 and they are like wearing snowshoes on my feet they are so big. So went to the local running shoe store and bought a pair of the new women's Arahi 3's. They are much firmer than most Hoka's. The arch is much less pronounced, which is a good thing. Sometimes after walking for a while, the arch on the Arahi 2's and on the Clifton 5 are really noticeable. I personally like the firmness of the 3's but can see how long-time Hoka wearers would not. These have a very different feel. The toe box is sleeker but still offers plenty of room. And, they are more attractive than the 2's with their rounded toe box. Not sure I understand the complaints of other reviewers about too much material. The Arahi 3's run large. I normally wear a women's 12 in a running shoe but size 11 in the 3's are perfect.

Very comfortable for someone that's on their feet all day. Honestly feels like I am walking on clouds. Also, very supportive. I have a terrible back and knees and also over pronate. These shoes are some of the most comfortable I've had! I have always worn ASICS but these are 100% more comfortable. I went up a half size but the width was perfect for me.

After extensive foot surgeries, I have to wear wide, square-toed shoes. A world-renowned orthopedic surgeon from the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, HIGHLY recommended the Hoka One shoe! My feet are happy, thanks to the orthopedic surgeon and Hoka One... THANK YOU!

I was searching for a running shoe with a stiff sole to help Hallux Limitus in my big toe joint. I haven't been able to run very consistently for the last year and also haven't been able to do lunges or any activity where I'm bending my big toe too much. When I went to a local running store and tried these on, I had immediate relief! I even ran on the treadmill for a while with them on and I barely noticed any pain in my toe! I'm so happy I found these! I have a very narrow foot and they fit perfectly. I was even able to do lunges while wearing them yesterday with no pain. I'm definitely sticking with these! So happy! Now just need to find a good everyday shoe that'll give some relief.

I purchased this shoe for running and because I am on my feet all day at the hospital. I have high arches and after a long day in a neutral shoe my feet ache. With the Arahi, I don't have any foot pain at the end of the day. For running, I over pronate and this shoe corrects my pronation. It is also light weight and has just the right amount of cushion that doesn't make me feel like I am wearing a high stability shoe.

Love these shoes. I wear them everyday while I nurse a thru hiking ankle injury. I wear them with my orthotic inserts and can feel a difference. I wear them to PT, to work, and as I build up my ankle strength. LOVE THEM. I only wish that there were some neutral options. I'm on my second pair and bought the black and neon green, and they're awesome, but I would love at least one pair that aren't the fashion statement of my outfit,

I am a power walker, with medium arches and sciatica. These offer great support and have increased my speed and while reducing the impact to my lower back. My biggest complaint about these shoes is the color/design. As I feared, the new colors are 3 solid pastels. The black Carbon X and the allure/mood indigo Arahi 3 both have a dynamic design - I wish the designers for this company took some hints from the On Running brand. These are large shoes that require sleek and funky design elements and color combinations. That said, I don't think any other brand has met the same level of comfort as Hoka. But please offer more color options!

These shoes fit and look great. Would prefer more cushion and a bit more arch support. Far more comfortable for me than the Bondi 6 was though. I have severe arthritis in my feet, bouts of plantar fasciitis, and large bunion on right foot. So being able to be on my feet comfortably for several hours is a blessing. Perhaps all day comfort is not attainable.

The shoes fit as described but once again I was disappointed by the quality control. The shoe rubbed uncomfortably on one ankle. I noticed that area was less cushioned on the ankle seam. The same thing happened with a different model, only on the tongue of one shoe. While these are really comfortable shoes, it makes ordering them a game of chance. Good thing there’s a liberal return policy.

I like the sneaker. They are light and comfortable. My foot is on the narrower side, so it is difficult for me to get these tight enough... I think I just prefer a more narrow toe box on my running sneakers.

Agree with others that this runs large. I went down a half size. Tried regular and wide in normal Hoka size, and both were large. Plenty of toe wiggle room. More cushion than the Mach and more responsive than the Bondi to me. There's enough volume to accommodate a custom arthritic without feeling cramped. Fingers crossed that these work out. Very grateful for Zappos for sending a gajillion pairs to try on! Local store stock of wides is pretty limited.

I have owned several pairs of Hoka's! I really like the shoes. Runs a half size big. Customer service is excellent also. Would recommend Hoka's to anyone looking for a good shoe!

I'm on my feet 8-10 hours a day at work, on concrete floors. My physical therapist recommended Hokas for the shock absorption and comfort, and I've never looked back! My only complaint is that they completely change the construction and materials every year, so when I find a pair I really love (and I can't afford to buy more than one pair at a time) I don't get too attached!

The shoe was very large on my foot. I have this shoe in the same model a few years older that I love. It was time for a new pair, so I ordered these in the same size. They didn't fit the same at all. Way too big and were painful to walk in through my instep and on top of my foot no matter how I laced them. I have arthritis in my feet and a fallen arch in the left foot, so it is rather complicated to find the right shoe. I'd had such good luck with my other pair that I thought these would work as well. I had to send them back.

I use these shoes for walking and love them-- to the point that I now have four pairs. I love the simplicity, and the fairly firm cushion. It's solid and not bouncy like the Clifton. What I don't like--the sizing control. I normally wear a 12 but an 11 works in these perfectly. HOWEVER, two pairs are narrow--the bright blue and dark gray/green while two pairs are much wider in the forefoot: the original light blue/bandaid and the light gray ones I just got. It's very weird. They are not labeled wide or narrow but you should fix this. I actually have a narrow foot so prefer the narrower version. One final note--the colors on your website are not very accurate. The red version is much lighter than the web photo.

I have always been a 9.5 in hoka arahi but this one was far too large. Hoping the 9 won't be too small.

The footbed was not cushioned enough for me. Otherwise I loved the shoe. Light and comfy and good for metatarsalgia. I may try them again and put in a cushioned insole to replace the factory insole. It just wasn’t enough for my sensitive feet. Too bad because otherwise I loved them.

The shoe is comfortable, but run a little big, this is my second pair Hoka. After my first pair, I tried a few different ones, the arch is all run too high, rub my feet, I have flat feet. After reading others reviews, it seems this one is a good fit, so I ordered this pair. When first tried on, it is very comfortable, not rub my feet, but after a 5 miles run, my left foot got a blister, not sure it is because it is a little bigger than normal or the design. Still plan to keep it.

I have 2 pairs of Clifton 4s that I love. These seem to be about 1/2 size larger and wider in the toes. Also not as much support. Still really comfortable and keeping them. Love the color combo. Love Hokas in general. Might size down 1/2 size.

good. my only complaint is that the toe is thick so if you are running fast you could trip. not the most elegant looking shoes but if you have foot issues they will help.

I bought a gray color and it is showing a lot of dirt on the fabric. I wish I had bought a darker color. I bought the stabilizer because I have a balances issue caused by a bruised spinal cord.

I ordered this in Wide, I really don't like the fabric these shoes are made of. It seems to the trend of the season. Shoe was comfortable, but I returned them, the fabric is so ugly I'd never wear them.
