Exceeded expectations!! I recommend that you 100% buy a half size down! I am ALWAYS a snug women's 9.5 in all running shoe brands, but in Hoka I am a 9 and have plenty of room to move around. They also feel wider than normal without having to buy the 9 wide. In running shoes, I look for a light weight shoe with a combination of cushion (need shock absorption for past plantar fasciitis issues) and stability (for past IT band issues). At first try on, I was not impressed because they felt very bulky, the cushion was much firmer than expected, and the arch support seemed flat. HOWEVER, I ran 8 miles for a first run in these and felt no discomfort at all during or after the run. I always have issues (blisters, soreness, etc.) breaking in a new pair of running shoes, but no problem at all with the Hoka One One Arahi 3. The shoe is very lightweight and I really felt the stabilizing design at work during my run. I definitely recommend this shoe if you look for similar qualities as I do in your running shoes! Note that I typically run longer distances and intend to use these training for upcoming half and full marathons.

First of all, let me just say that I am not an athlete; I only run when I’m being chased ; ) I do enjoy taking long walks; however, this has become increasingly difficult for me due to my flat, achy feet. Two people I know (one is a marathon runner) had recommended Hoka One One to me. Initially I balked at the price when looking at them on your website, but decided to suck it up. Found the Arahi 3 was good for overpronation, so I ordered those in the frost grey/scuba blue. When I took them out of the box, I thought they looked big and clunky, but tried them on, and they feel great so far! They run about half a size too large, but there aren’t any 7.5 in the wide width available, so I will keep the size 8. In fact, I’m almost tempted to order them in another color!

I have had plantar fasciitis for many years and currently having a very bad flare up like never before! I got my Hoka Arahi 3 sneakers and wore them for the first time yesterday at work and WOW!! I work in a very busy medical office and my feet felt great at the end of the day! It was the first time in years that I knew what it was like not to have painful feet!! Highly recommended for people with foot pain!!

I wear a size 10-10.5 in women’s shoes. In tennis shoes, I usually need to size up to an 11. These fit perfectly (including adding a Superfeet orthodic insole) in a 10.5. Very comfortable right out of the box for my hour plus brisk walk, including hills.

8th pair of Arahis. I have horribly collapsed arches and flat feet, from distance running over a long period of time. With my custom orthodics, these feel like I'm walking (and working out) on a cloud.

I purchased these shoes because my feet are on the flatter side and I needed something with good support. I mainly use these for Orange Theory workout classes. So far I love them! I’m normally a size 8 or 8.5 but needed a 7.5 in these and still have a little room to spare. I was worried about the thick platform because I was used to wearing sleeker Nike free runs and what not but Hoka does a great job incorporating the thick platform and I think they look great!

I loved this shoe from the day I put it on. I need a stability shoe and a wide because of my gait and foot width. I have back problems and pain. The moment I put these on my back pain subsided. It was recommended to me to size up but I felt they were too big. I’m not a runner, just fast walking. I went with my regular size and it fits perfect. I do use a different insert and it fits great. The true testament to a good shoe.

Hoka wow! I'm a neutral runner with very high arches, but the balls of my feet always hurt and the wear pattern on one shoe lately shows me rolling in, so I've wanted to try a stability shoe. I also have chronic patellofemural pain and cranky, aging joints that my Brooks Ghosts just aren't managing well anymore. So I got these Arahi 3s and boy do they feel great! Supportive but cushy. They're different to walk in, bouncy yet sludgy and I find myself shuffling a bit, but I think I'll adjust. I've worn them for the past few days non-stop, as streetwear and as runners and I've had noticeably less knee pain, even on the treadmill and going down steps, which are normally excruciating. Amazing.
I got the color Plein-Air/Moonlit Ocean which is pale cool grey, very pretty. I sized down to a 7.5 medium, which fit as my usual 8 medium in runners (I'm 7.5 in street shoes). They are a bit grandma-ish but to my eye still stylish, and very sleek. I think I'll need to invest in more of them since all my other shoes hurt in comparison.

I have been running and walking in stability shoes for 20+ years. This is the fist pair that I can actually feel it correcting my pronation by the way they are designed. Additionally they are the most lightweight and comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. Love them and I highly recommend them!

I have become a real fan of Hoka One One shoes. I have Achilles tendon problems and am currently wearing a Richie brace. The Arahi has removable soles which allow for the insertion of your own orthotics. The shoe provides good arch support. The higher heel and the differential drop (decline from heel to toe) is great for my Achilles tendon problems. The shoe is true to size. I wear an 11 in all shoes and the 11 fit me fine.
I love the colors. I wish Zappos would carry a higher volume of large (10+) shoe sizes and wider widths. These sell out fast, so there's obviously a need. I would like to get another pair or two since all I can wear right now are running shoes. Looks like I'll have to go to the Hoka One One site to purchase different colors in the size I need.

I have horrible knee pain anytime I try and exercise and these are the only shoes that don’t cause knee pain. I also like to wear them for my 12 hour shifts as a nurse.

This is my 4th pair of Hoka shoes, the first arahi3. Sleeker looking than arahi 2 but still very cushioned and comfortable. Not crazy about the blue/salmon combo but I'll keep them. Good stability!

I just love these shoes they are not as bulky as the another hokas i own witch i love also and the colors are nice. They do run big so go a 1/2 size down. I have flat feet and they work great for me and no pain workout in them and just fell comfortable.

I love these shoes. I do not need to wear my orthotics when running in the Arahi 3. I have low arches and overpronate, but I have completed 5+ miles without any issues with the Arahi 3. These shoes fit similar to the Brooks GTS I previously wore. I love the support these shoes provide.

This is my 2nd pair of Hokas. Recommended to me for support of my arthritic ankle by my physical therapist. The footbed cushioning is heavenly, which minimizes impact on my joints when feet meet the pavement. The blue-grey color is subtle. My other pair is in aqua blue and pink, which makes them look like clown shoes. These shoes are def worth the price. Think of it as an investment in your health.

I ordered these a 1/2 size larger and in a D width because I have a bone spur on my right foot and am using them for exercising on the treadmill. They are so comfortable even for every day use! Highly recommend these Hokas!

Love them! Have 2 pair. Normally wear a 9m...got these in an 8.5m. One in black the other in the light blue. Had been in Altra Provisions previously until they poorly reengineered the newest model. These Hoka's are fabulous for walking, stability and just all around. I have partial knee replacements and an old stress fracture in the right foot and these Hoka's are this years best choice for me and my issues. Zero complaints. https://www.hokaoneone.com/

The updates on this shoe are really good! Last year's version felt tight with all the overlays on the mash and the arch support felt hard and not comfortable to work with. This version has very few overlays and more Burnet upper leaving more room for your foot to feel comfortable and the arch support feels more like a guide rail system and less like a bar. I did feel like the shoe was slightly narrow in the toe box from the ball of the foot up to the toes but I'm pretty sure a wider version of the shoe will fix the problem.

This is my first time wear Hoka One shoes. I ordered regular width first but felt too tight with my own orthotic insert so I got wider one and they fit perfectly. I have very flat feet and knees problem but with this shoes, I can run on treadmill without any pain or tired feet. I am really happy with the purchase

Hokas are my shoe. They just fit and support my foot the way I need. This is the fourth style I've tried and it's a good one. They are very lightweight but they have the firm, cushion that makes the Hoka brand so perfect. I find I always need a 1/2 size smaller in Hoka shoes and then they are perfect. I like a wide fit which I ordered in the Arahi 3.
I find it's not quite as stable and foot hugging as the Gaviota, which is my perfect shoe. Historically I've had problems getting much besides my last choice in color for Hoka shoes if I want that 8.5 W size. I scored the lighter blue in this case and I think It's a really good looking shoe . It's got a a slightly lower profile than some Hokas.
I've been wearing 10 days or a week and give them a thumbs up.

I ordered 3 pair of the Hokas, had heard good things about them. And they are really comfortable - REALLY.. nice padding, very stable shoe, give a nice little stretch in the calf... but I wear a narrow shoe - usually Asics, because they come in 2A... and the Hoka were just too wide for me, even with heavy socks... had to return all of them... too bad!
