I am a walker & these were recommended to me because I have a wide foot. Regarding the size: they were true to size in my opinion, and true to width. They have a nice wide, rounded toe box, which I need for my wide feet. They are comfy and stylish. However, after only 100 miles, these shoes showed great wear on the bottom. I have had to "goo" them. The soles are not holding up well at all and I would not purchase another pair of these. For what these shoes cost, they should certainly hold up much better than they are.

I had the previous model Arahi 2 -- although it was comfortable and stable, it CREAKED so loudly that I could only wear them in a noisy gym! When Arahi 3 came out, I purchased them quickly because SURELY Hoka has fixed that issue. Nope. Not fixed. Out of the box same-o-same-o. What's the problem, Hoka? Can't you eliminate the noise? No other shoes I've ever worn have had such a noisy performance. Good grief.

These Hoka One One Arahi 3 shoes are so much more comfortable than my Hoka One One Bondi 6 shoes!! Lots of room for my bunion and for my toes to splay out. Love them.

These shoes are like a miracle for me! Walking was like torture before I got these shoes, since both knees were injured several years ago and severe hip pain has developed as well... even slow walking was like a constant collision in my bones. Straight out of the box I wore these shoes on a walk tonight and was able to keep a brisk pace without stopping, and with very minimal pain! I cannot express what a life saver these shoes are and I will likely order another pair they are so good. THANK YOU HOKA!!!!!

I took these Hokas out of the Zappos box this morning, put them on for the very first time and walked 5 glorious miles. These shoes are super cute, have just the right amount of bounce and are a dream to wear. I do not want to take them off. Love them a ton.

Best sneakers I've ever owned. Recommended by a family member who is a distance runner. I use them for walking long distances. Great support. What everyone says about sizing is true...for Nike and other brands I order a larger size than I wear in shoes. With Hoka order your regular shoe size.

I need a really roomy toe box in my running shoes and lots of cushion when I run and these definitely fit the bill. They are about a thumb width from my toe and I normally wear an 8, I probably could have 1/2 sized down, but I like to have tons of wiggle room in my toes so it actually worked out well. They are one of their lightest shoes, so I would definitely recommend these.

I've been buying hoka arahi since I was fitted in a running store - I'm a walker in my 50's and about 50 lbs overweight so I needed a great support ! I was surprised by the stability !! The way the foam is wide enuf to " rock" I don't feel like I'm gonna fall off them like lots of super recovery thick type shoes !
These were on sale so I took a chance on a 9.5 W ( in the pink indigo ( stunning !) instead of my regular size 10- I honestly thought I'd have to send them back , but I love the extra width ! I wear the wide toe box shoes too ( antra ) and do I loved being able to spread my toes!
Just thought I'd review in case someone else isn't an official " Wide" foot but wants to try a bit extra room! Lake my first mile - right out of the box! Perfect !
I love that I can try these 30 days too! I'll be ordering directly from hoka from now on!

In 2014, I sustained a lis franc fracture in my right foot. Since then, I have barely been able get a few miles in without having pains in my left knee and quad from over-compensating. These shoes have gotten me back to running 8-15 miles a day and I couldn't be happier!!!!!!

I run about 4 times a week in these shoes and they are AMAZING! I would buy them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend to everyone, whether you are a walker or a runner these sneakers are the best.

The first pair were different model than what I currently wear and fit differently so returned then easily. Will reorder same shoes I currently wear. HOKA are wonderfully supportive and cushioned for hip, knee, and ankle problems. I don't run anymore but they are very comfortable and have only worn HOKA running shoes for several years now.

These are so comfortable. I walk between 3 and 4 miles a day, 4 or 5 times a week on pavement. These have so much support, my feet don't hurt anymore. Already recommended them to a walking buddy who loves hers!

Great shoe - I'm overweight and this shoe has the best arch support, along with overall support. I ordered the wide, and it is a bit wide, but I don't think too much. My toes aren't squished for a change. I don't think they look great, but at this point, I don't care about that. I hope the cloth top lasts.
