I used to run with the Arahi 2 which fit me really well. Arahi 3 feels a bit lighter but other than that it feels similar to the 2. I have narrow feet and I need stability shoes because of my ankle issues and these are perfect as my marathon shoes.

Great shoe. Lots of support. I've worn another very supportive shoe for years and I think these are better.

Let me start by saying I am not a runner. I do a lot of walking in my every day activities, at work and at home. If I don't buy a shoe with good arch support my feet will be in unbearable pain at the end of the day.
I came across Hoka One One at a running specialty store close to my area. I tried on the Arahi 3 and was impressed on how soft and cushy they felt. I was wanting to buy a pair right then and there, but they did not have my size. So I came home and ordered them directly from Hoka`s web site.
I received them in about a week, and I couldn't wait to put them on. That was 3 months ago. Since then I went on vacation where I walked over 15K steps a day. At the end of the day my feet did not hurt and honestly, my lower back didn't feel stiff from all the walking and standing I did throughout the day.
The Arahi 3 are like little pillows for my feet. :)

I spend a lot of time on my feet. These shoes are so lightweight but yet have super cushion. I loved mine so much that my husband bought a pair.

I love these shoes!! This is the first pair of stability shoes that I've worn that hasn't caused me to roll an ankle when I walk!!! I pronate inwards, and these shoes have support in all the right places! I enjoy the fact that they come in wide options.

I have tried Clifton before and I thought they were super nice running shoes until I lost a toenail with them I decided to try some other kinds and the seller recommended a few. I suffer from morton's Toe and these shoes don't hurt my toes at all they used to hurt almost every time I ran and it's not ok your toes hurt even with morton's Toe problem if they hurt you are wearing the wrong running shoes I discovered that with Arahi 3, they are light they have the awesome cushion Hoka is known for and I really recommend

I am about to buy a 2nd pair. I wear these both to work and the gym. They are great support. I have plantar fasciitis and help give the support I need.

I have two pairs of these. The first pair in allure blue is very large--more like a large size 12. At first I didn't like them at all. They were too stiff and I couldn't get used to the heel. Now, I love them. They are just the right firmness for walking. They certainly don't have the bouncy feel of many Hoka's, but this feel is preferable. So much so that I ordered a second pair in scuba blue. These are clearly a touch smaller than the first pair, but still plenty big for 11s (in most running shoes I wear a women's 12). They are also a tad narrower--in other words, they are all around a perfect fit. I like them so much that I have ordered two more pairs in case Hoka changes the model and the fit, which they surely will do! Hopefully these fit like the scuba blue...

I wear the Hoka Arahi 3 everyday. They are really supportive for my back. I have tried other brands in the past but HOKA is definitely the one for me! My only regret is that I did not try these long ago. I will always stick with HOKA brand shoes from now on.

I got these shoes because I’m trying to heal from Metatarsalgia and they are perfect! They are taking the load off my forefoot and I don’t have any pain when I walk. Super grateful someone recommended them.

I bought these shoes for my wife. She is a nurse and for years has worn Alegria nursing shoes and has been happy. A friend of mine(also in healthcare) swore by hers. "Dynamic stability". She wears a different pair each day, but since the purchase of the Arahis, that is the only pair she'll wear. I have been instructed to buy her another pair and am in the process. She has suffered with plantar fasciitis in the past and sore feet but not now. She owns two other pair of Bondis for walking on the treadmill but they are not for work. Different mechanism I guess. Any way, verrrrry happy. Thanks Zappo and Hoka. Happy wife=happy life!

Comfortable and Stable - best shoes I’ve ever owned. Having RA, finding a great pair of shoes for walking presents quite the challenge. Prior to finding these shoes my ankles, knees and hips would take a beating after even a short walk. The wide base and cushioned soles make my walks and the days following a breeze. No more pain - looking for more styles today! Best athletic shoes I’ve ever worn. Thanks Zappos for the speedy delivery and quality products!

When I first received these shoes, I was surprised at how different they are from the Arahi 2's. They are definitely larger. I normally wear a size 9 but they were far too long. I sized down to an 8.5 and they work well. I could probably wear a size 8 though too but I like plenty of toe room.
Yes, they are also stiffer and less cushiony when you first put them on. They almost have a firm memory foam feel at first. Despite the first impression, there is plenty of thick, deep cushioning in the body of the foot bed. I haven't had any pain while using them which is remarkable since I have very thin fat pads under my feet.
I originally gave these shoes first a one star, then a two star review. A month later, I have to say that they are my all time favorites. I love wearing them at work, at home, workouts. They are my "go to" shoes whenever I have to stand or walk for long periods of time. When I swap out to my Arahi 2's, I can definitely feel more arch.. but they, too, continue to be very, very comfortable.
I am incredibly grateful for the Hoka One One shoe line for giving me shoes that work and work well. So, I wanted to update my review and share my thoughts! Yes, it's different than the 2's... but definitely worth trying! (You can delete my other two reviews!)

Another great Hoka. This one is more narrow than the first Arahi but not too narrow. Great support and shock absorption!

Super comfy shoe but I usually wear a 7.5 wide to allow room for a sock but returned it for a 7 wide. Nicely made and could wear all day long.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are my first Hokas and they fit true to size (for me) and they have really improved my run. I was actually going to purchase comfy shoes at a local running store for an upcoming trip where we'd be walking 8-10 hours a day and they brought these out. I didn't love them for walking compared to my favorite everyday sneaker, but even in a walk I knew I needed them for my workouts. They are super comfortable and the uppers breathe AND allow for a really sturdy fit (I like my shoes snug around the top of my foot). I recently had to take four months off with ZERO cardio of any kind, so my running really suffered. After pacing up with these, I'm seeing improvements quicker than with my old shoes, and while I attribute some to support, I've been in great stability shoes so I am convinced it's that heel rock... I never realized it would be that impactful to my performance. Combine that with the lightweight feel and I'm basically walking in air. My one complaint is that there aren't great colors, which is a common theme in every stability shoe. I love Hoka's collab on the Clifton with OV and was hoping online I'd see at least one trendy-ish color, and I'm bummed that I'm stuck with the periwinkle blue. Change the color lineup and these would be a perfect 10!
