Nice comfy shoe but I think color & style (on scale of 1-10 ) is a grandmaw 3 - the support is more than adequate but I like a squishier feeling when I am walking. There was plenty of toe room as well.

I have narrow feet, I am flat footed and I overpronate. I have struggled to find a running shoe that works for me and decided to try the Hoka brand. I purchased the Hoka Arahi 3 and the Hoka Gaviota 2 to see which model would work best for me. While I liked the Arahi 3 I found it was a bit wider in the heel and forefoot area than the Gaviota 2 and just a little bit longer in length. I usually order an 8 1/2 in running shoe but went a half size down to an 8 and that seemed about right. If you have a wider foot or use orthotics the Arahi 3 will probably work for you. Also, if you don't mind using the lacing system that cinches up the heel area this shoe might work for you. I found that after walking around in these that bottom of my heel hurt so I sent them back and kept the Gaviota 2.

I purchased the Arahi 2 about 6 mo. to year ago. Its is very supportive and comfortable. I am very disappointed to have noticed that the heel of the shoe has worn out and the hard plastic inner construction is exposed. This is a work shoe for me, I'm on my feet 8-12 hrs a shift. The sole & body has many miles to go, but I can't bare the pain of the guts of the shoe stabbing the back of my ankle.

These have a wider toe box than the Arahi 2 so they are less streamlined, but good if you have combination feet. However, the grey + pink sole combination is very "not my colors". Disappointing because Hoka One has some great purples and blues in their stable of colors.

I started back personal training. I wear the Bondi's for work as a nurse, but purchased these for leisure/gym. They are very stable, firm, supportive shoe. They feel very durable. I tried on in store my normal size 7.5 and they were very narrow, considering my extra thick Thorlo Experia socks. It was recommended (with the Bondis) to go up a whole size for training/running and I'm glad I did because with normal 7.5 my feet would go numb before my workout even started. So I took a chance considering they felt so tight/narrow with the 7.5. I just received and tried them on and they are perfect. They don't feel too big. And there's really only a thumb length between my toe and end of the shoe. I would definitely try on before purchasing your normal size.

Wrote a lengthy review and it never seems to have posted.... Hoka makes these in wides, but Zappos didn’t have them in stock, so I tried the medium width which were too narrow. Aside from the width issue, the shoes were very comfortable - good support and cushion. These look much less like clown shoes than the other hokas - more like a regular running shoe. They done have the strong rocker feel of hoka’s other models - so I don’t feel like they alter my faith, just offer support. I do wish the color options on this shoe were more attractive. Zappos please get the wides in stock, it’s so hard to find comfortable wide running shoes!

While these shoes come in a wide, Zappos had none. I tried the medium width which were too narrow. Despite that, the support and cushion are great - Zappos please bring in some wides! Style-wise these shoes did not have that clownish look that often happens with hoka models - they look much more like standard running shoes. That said, the color options are limited and underwhelming. I will definitely sign up for alerts in the hopes that Zappos will stock the wides.

Make sure you size down on these! I usually wear a 7.5 and ordered a 6.5 and I still have a little wiggle room. Very comfortable and supportive, just make sure you order a few sizes to try out!

Most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned. I always have them on. The only downside I see is the color selection.

Only gave 4 stars because the sizing is not accurate. I'm typically a size 7. Ordered 6.5 and they are perfect. Hoka is the best brand for any feet issues.

Way too small couldn’t get onto my foot. Ratings are guesses since I couldn’t try them on. Looked cool! Sorry to return :(

I have been using these for about 3 weeks now and I love them! They are very comfortable for running and walking. They have helped with shin splints immensely. The only downfall is the arch isn't as supportive as I would like for it to be. They are overall great!

Overall, great performance running shoes. This model provides great support for overpronate runner, and relatively light weight for stability shoes. I normally wear size 5.5 in Nike and New Balance, so ordered a size 5.5 for this model. My feet were swimming in the size 5.5. I exchanged for a size 5 and it was perfect. My one compliant is the sole was giving me a blisters near the bunion area, i replaced the sole with a runner specific sole, and has no problems running in them. Returning the 5.5 was a breeze.

Really liked this shoe but unfortunately it has not enough arch support for me. Also feels very soft compared to other Hoka. Kept it and gave it to my daughter - she loves it!

This is my second pair of Hokas and my second pair of Arahis so I definitely like them. This Arahi 3 runs a 1/2 size longer than my other Arahis so I sized down but the cushioning, support and stability feel the same which is very good. I wish there were more/better color choices but I went with the Allure and it is good enough (was hoping for the bright pinks or purples I've seen in some of the other Hoka styles for spring). Of course I love Zappos - so fast and great service!

I was looking for something with more arch support and a cushier sole, so ended up returning these. I do have wide feet and the wide fit nicely but ended up deciding on a different style.

I love the Hokas. I bought the clifton 5 and love them, I walk 3.2 miles a day and they are wearing great. I bought the Ahiris 3 and they feel great but after only about 50 miles they are wearing out on the bottom! The Clifton's have about 150 miles and are wore about the same.

Toe box is too big. I find your purchase advice from telephone reps to be spotty. Dwayne is the best rep you have for ordering shoes over the phone. You MUST have various colors available over time and NOT sell colors and sizes out so fast without replinishing your stock. You should notify repeat customers, such as me, when stock is running low. I order 9 pair of your shoes a year yet you do not provide any services other than selling. Prefer cushioning in Clifton but toe box now too big.

I was hoping to like this shoe because other reviews indicated that this style runs narrow. For me there is too much gaping in the toe area even though the heel and arch are ok. I prefer my Hoka Gaviota 2's even though the laces are too long. For a narrow foot like mine I prefer the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19. Be aware that a Hoka women's 11 is a 44. You need a Brooks 11.5 to get a 44.

I normally wear an 8.5 or a 9 in athletic shoes. The 8.5 still felt big all around. The sole is very comfortable but a bit bulky. I am returning and ordering another Hoka style.

I really wanted to like these shoes. Had never purchased Hoka's before and selected this model because I need pronation support. The cushioning and bounce are great. But these shoes cause pain at the outside edge of the front of my foot as well as at my heel. I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in, but the pain became worse with wear. Previously I had worn Brooks Adrenalines with no problem so I am not sure if it was the lower heel offset that caused me foot pain or the fact there the toe box is not as wide as it is with the Adrenaline.
