I am a medium but fit a large because I like to be able to layer without my coat being tight. It's very comfortable, very warm and has lots of extras. I love it!

I bought this for a cold winter weather coat that I could wear when temperatures are very cold ( 0-15 degrees F). This coat is very comfortable and very, very warm. I like the sleeve inserts that fit inside mittens. It also has magnetic closure over the zipper which is a very nice feature.

Love this jacket!!! I was so hesitant to splurge this much money on a jacket. But it's worth every penny !!! I have hypothyroidism so I am very cold intolerant, so I needed a jacket like this to keep me comfortably warm. It's excellent quality that I have no doubt that this will last me years. I am even happier that I bought this during their winter sale, so keep an eye out for the sales.

I like the North Face Coat, it's very warm, but because I'm thinner, I hope manufacturers can produce a little more xs size.

I love the magnets on the flap that covers the zipper, it makes the coat more appellant when wearing, because you can't see the zipper. The zippers on the bottom sides are also a plus because it can expand. The coat is warm and intended for cold. So it's not a springtime coat. I love every about it.

I have only worn this Parka today as it just came. I did order a large and found that while it fit, I wanted more move room so I ordered an XL. I like that the put from the down is on the inside of the jacket so the outside has a smooth look.

I had initially ordered a down North Face jacket to be shipped to the store. I tried it on and it felt nice and light but not warm enough so I started looking at others. I found this one and was drawn to the hood at first. Once I put it on, I knew this is what I was looking for. After living in Florida for 7 years and then moving to W.I. I was not prepared with a winter coat and I will tell you that this coat is the ish. I feel like I'm wearing a blanket that is cute and waterproof. 100% suggest this coat for those walking to work in NYC or waiting for the bus or just going on your everyday adventures.

A little heavy but not too bad. I think you can expect that with a good quality cold weather jacket.

Bought it a little big so I could layer clothes under it. 5'6" - 145lbs so I went with a medium. I don't like tight, overly fitted clothes, so the fit is great for me. I bought this specifically for NYC to walk two blocks back and forth from my apartment to classes and my rotations. NYC doesn't get much snow but the wind can be brutal in the winter. It stops the wind and covers me almost to my knees. Scrubs are not very warm, so this coat is a just what the Dr ordered.

This coat is such high quality! I ordered an XL and it fits my shoulders and arms great, but is a bit big around my core, but that'll leave plenty of room for layers underneath (I'm 5'8", size 12, athletic build). Love the matte black look, magnetic zipper cover, and the faux fur hood lining really helps block wind from your face.

This coat will be my every day, every occasion winter coat. It protects from all winter weather conditions all while being stylish. The fur is like no other.

Love it, warm and long so covers more on cold days.

Really loveee my coat. Loveee The North Face brand. Got one for myself and got my kids one too. Looking for another one for my husband and he already have one. Super recommend this brand for my friends.

I bought this for my daughter and she loved it. She wanted to buy the other colors because it was nice, warm, comfy, and waterproof.

Sleeves are a bit long but fold back into fashionable cuff. I bought up 1 size to ensure movement w layering and/or snow shoveling, etc.

This is great for urban commuting in the winter.

This is a major "work horse" kinda coat. I am an animal welfare volunteer and needed a coat that could withstand extreme weather and harsh conditions. This coat is supremely warm and waterproof. In the past, when it was raining or snowing, I had to chose between a waterproof rain parka (kept me dry but cold even with layers) or a down jacket (kept me warm.. until it starting absorbing the rain/snow). Love the longer length, no rain or snow going down (or up) my shirt or waist of my pants when I am bending over. The hood is sturdy and doesn't blow off my head in high winds like the hoods on other coats I have had. Sleeves a tad long but otherwise a great fit. Being able to unzip the sides up from the hem allows for freedom of movement when getting in and out of car. Wish the internal chest pocket was just slightly larger; hard to get my iPhone/Otter case in it. But the internal cargo pockets will hold it. I never zip a coat up, so the magnetic snaps are great. I took the zip faux-fur lining off the hood as soon as I got the coat out of the box and the hood still blocks/protects. The exterior fabric is very tough; I've had to crawl thru brambles and brush and nary a snag of any kind. The water just rolls right off it. Highly recommend.

I'm wearing this parka as I type this. I bought it because my job requires me to be outside for more than an hour and it does the job far exceeds my expectations! I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada where winter is windy, wet and cold. Among other adults with parka I'm the only one with warm hands! The fleeced sleeve at the wrist are long but they don't bother me. As I was standing outside with this parka I don't feel any gushes of wind blowing in my face or my body. The Gore-tex waterproof exterior is impermeable, splashes of water and the water rolls down. I love how the parka is full of down but still stylish and not overly bulky with my petite frame. Totally worth the purchase and I'm in love with it!!!

Really nice jacket for your every day wear. The length really helps with keeping me warm! I'm always cold.... I've only used this jacket in 30 weather so far, and it has been wonderful. I'm sure that this jacket will do wonders keeping me warm on a colder day. Definitely pleased with my purchase as this was a gift to myself for upcoming winters!

I live in WI and walk to work and this is a great coat for the cold days. It's a really warm coat without being too heavy, the hood and longer length keep me warm and it's waterproof.
