I have purchased many winter coats from the North face , but when I got this one I must say it is the warmest coat and the best quality made coat I now own. i live in the Midwest-Michigan. I have received many compliments on the style and the especially the fur on the hood. i was fortunate to find a size that fit me. I usually wear medium but a small fit me well. I can't say how much this coat have helped me walk from the parking structure to the building where I work. it is the best coat feo the north face! please don't stop producing/ making this coat

I love this coat. It is cute and very warm for Chicago's winters. The zippers at the bottom are great when I need to make room for walking and climbing over large mounds of snow. The magnetic closure is nice for when I'm moving quickly, but sometimes it sticks to my earrings which is a little annoying, but not a problem for me. The hood is nice, it covers everything it needs to, though the fur looks a little purple which was surprising to me.

This parka was well worth it. Though a bit spendier than most coats I own, it has full warmth plus all the details that make The North Face a step above basic. A built in fingerless glove/sleeve, functional pockets in brilliant places & zips so you can sit down or walk fast comfortably.

This is the warmest coat I've ever had. I love the magnetic snaps, fur hood, & the bottom zippers are great for sitting. Wish I could find pants this warm lol.

I'm definitely feeling like I'm wrapped in a blanket and the exterior fabric is wind proof and keeps me warm and dry!!

Love this coat, it's very warm and comfortable

This jacket performs exactly how it needs to its heavy down weight so it super warm. The pictures do not do it justice the fur is really pretty on the hood. Like most North Face clothing it is not friendly to those with curves, but luckily this jacket has side zippers near your thighs so you can unzip them if you need to. I get a lot of compliments on it. Oh and the magnetic closure is awesome however slightly annoying (or funny depending on your mood) if you're taking off/ putting on near metal surfaces.

I love this coat! Super warm and comfortable. Also plenty waterproof to be the silly adult making snow angels in the park. The magnet closure is fantastically easy over the zipper. No more fussing with snaps. And FINALLY there is a zipper near the chest to put a phone, mask, or whatever you need easily accessible.

Already bought a second one!

Great winter jacket, use for walking around nyc winters as someone who is always cold and this keeps me very warm, windproof is great bc can walk by the river or on windy days and dont get cold, magnets are great and comes with built in hand covers, hood is nice, coat is stylish not too puffy looking

This jacket is well made and the material is good. I stood outside while snowing waiting for my daughter skiing and it kept me warm and dry.

I loveee the magnet buttons! I also love the fur hood! I also love the zippers on the size Incase I need a larger range of motion.

I looked at every long down parka on the market before purchasing this last year. I'm 5'9 and this hits below the knee. The 2-way zipper is strong & functional, the side zips add ventilation (and style), the hood is deep and high, the long cuffs are perfect (even without a thumb hole), the pockets are sturdy and zipped, and the magnetic closures ensure that the front is sleek. I zip it up and love that the closures automatically press everything in place. I immediately removed the faux fur thing on the hood (and this coat would be better without it), but perhaps some people like that. I use this for walking the dog in rainstorms in Northern California, but I imagine that it would be perfect in the snow in the midwest or northeast. It is warm, waterproof, and stylish. I tend to look like a large pear in other down coats; this feels great, protects me from the elements, and I was super happy to pull it from the closet at temperatures dropped this year. (Um, it does get cold in California). Best coat I own.

I absolutely love this parka. The green color is exactly what I was looking for. I love the magnetic buttons, the built in mittens, and the zippers on the side to either keep down, or zip up if needing extra wiggle room like sitting. The zippers make it so the parka doesn't get uncomfortably tight when you sit down. Love it! I get compliments on it all of the time.

Very warm and comfortable jacket.

Loveeee this jacket! It's perfect for the winter months when temps and windchill is negative here in New Hampshire. Love the adjustable zippers at the bottom. The sizing is good too, room to wear a sweater, but not so much room that it's too baggy.

Finally, a parka warm enough to withstand MN winters that I can also wear to the office without looking ridiculous. I love the extra features this has - two-way zipper, fleece hand warmers, magnetic snaps, fur hood, etc. I've bought so many parkas in the last ten years that disappointed, I'm so relieved to have found one that works.

The Defdown Parka GTX does a great job of keeping me warm. I don't need to layer or wear anymore heating clothing or any other winter clothing inside. The Jacket does an amazing job of keeping my top half warm but is also long enough to keep my thighs warm too.

I love this jacket/winter coat because it is a really heavy duty jacket without sacrificing style and quality. It is super warm but not puffy or bulky. I feel I am ready to any weather challange like moving to the North poke when U am wearing this jacket.

I live in central VT and this coat has made it a breeze to enjoy outdoor activities and to really soak up what little sun there is in the cold northern winter!

This is my every day coat during winter weather. I have no issues feeling cold while wearing this coat. The fit keeps the heat insulated and feels cozy.
