This parka is perfect for the kind of winters we have in the PNW - temps in the 30s and 40s with lots of stormy wind and rainy days. The outer layers of gortex keep you dry and there’s just enough down in the lining to keep you warm without being too warm. You won’t even notice the wind. The hood is cut to not obscure your vision. You will need a cap with a visor also if it is raining hard. If you’re looking for a coat to keep you warm in the cold continental climate this is not the one. The pockets are huge - plenty of room for your phone, gloves, etc. The double zipper is heavy-duty and easy to use and the magnet snaps practically snap themselves. Very heavy well-made parka - just what you would expect from the North Face.

It's a nice color, nice material and a great winter coat. The magnetic buttons are great. Hidden gloves in the sleeves are a bonus! Perfect! Not very heavy.

This parka is beautiful, comfy, soft, warm. I love it and I get lots of compliments about it.

OKAY, this coat is a MUST HAVE. I honestly was skeptical because I've never ordered a coat like this online but I did get it on sale & it fits perfect.. it's also warm & stylish which I LOVE! I can't wait to wear it hiking or just for day to day activities.

Love how warm and comfortable this coat is! I love all the features like the zippers at the hips, the magnetic snaps and the hand covers at the end of the sleeves! So functional and super warm! Also, many winter coats my head is swimming in the hood, but this one fits perfectly!

I love this jacket!! After reading reviews I was worried I ordered too big of a size (large) but it definitely is true to size. Being 5"5 and 163lbs.... I'm smaller on top and bigger on bottom and this fits perfectly. Arms are a tad long but not to bad so it's ok. The length is awesome sitting just over my knee in the front and just past the back of my knee in the back. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada) and its COLD here. This jacket was a total score. It's light weight and warm. People made odd comments about the fur on the hood but the fur is SO NICE! Also the pockets are a decent size. Two large one on front outside of jacket and then a wee on on inside. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this jacket. I love it! I really really love it!

Fit is really hard for me as my butt and thighs are quite curvy. This coat does the trick and still has the length I want. Very cozy in Canadian winters.

I really liked this coat. However I did return it. Iam 4'11" and this coat was a little longer that what I liked. This coat is really nice and warm though. Love the magnetic closing and how the inside sleeve can be closed if you dont have any gloves. Over all its a really nice and warm coat. Too bad is was too long.

I use it very day in the winter time and it protect me from the cold weather and Raining.

This is a very nice and warm winter jacket. It is definitely roomier than other jackets by The North Face, and the sleeves are longer, but this leaves room to wear bulky clothing underneath the jacket. The zippers on the sides are a nice added touch if you are feeling too warm or need more room for walking.

Love this coat! I have long arms and the sleeves are not constricting and I love the foldover feature to keep your hands warm. The length is longer but the side zippers are very helpful when sitting down and allow for greater mobility.

Great quality and warm, and of course, Gore-Tex. Everything you need for the winter.

I've had the Arctic Parka for a little over 5 years and wanted something different. (Another awesome jacket by the way!) It's definitely not a slim fit, but you can get away with wearing thicker sweaters, hoodies, etc.. It's an extremely warm, comfortable, and breathable winter jacket that I'm sure will last just as long as my previous one! I've been extremely happy with my NF purchases and their customer service for a long time!

I liked the coat more in person. I was concerned that it might be a little snug, but it isn't and I'm glad that I didn't go up a size. I think that I'll get a lot of use of this coat next winter.

I have been searching the last 2 seasons for a winter coat I like. I've always known what I wanted, but could never find a coat that "had it all". Being in Minnesota, it gets cold and I am a serious cold baby. I never feel warm so winter is a struggle for me. This coat is fantastic. Love the 2 way front zipper along with the zippers on the sides. Makes sitting in a car and running errands so much easier. Great fit on hood with lots of fur to block wind. Hoods were so big on other coats but this one fits just right without hanging down in my face. Love how light it feels when you wear it, but yet it keeps me comfortable and warm. Well as comfortable as a freeze baby can be in horrible Minnesota winters. Highly recommend!!

This is seriously the BEST coat I have ever purchased. WORTH EVERY PENNY. it's so INCREDIBLY warm, stylish, flattering, the length and fit are amazing, every detail is wonderful, and it's completely wind proof and water proof. After wearing it for 1 day during winter in Wisconsin, I immediately ordered a 2nd coat, it's THAT good of a coat (and it's currently on sale). Run, don't walk and get one/ order one now. This is literally the best coat EVER.

Always loved TNF jackets. I've had my previous one for about 4 years and am always wearing during the winter time. It actually started to rip at the arms so it made me start to look for a new jacket. Saw this one for sale and got an additional promo code on it and bought it. I know this jacket will last me a few years as well. It's a stylist jacket and I love it.

I live close to theLake Michigan beach and the winds can Ben brutal in the winter. This jacket helps to stop the wind while keeping me warm. I love the longer length as well as the removeavle hood and faux fur. Just what I needed for our Michigan winters.
