New favorite sneaker

Fit like a worn in pair of shoes the first time i put them on.

Fit and size was great. If you have pronated feet, I highly suggest these shoes.

I’ve been wearing Breasts for over a decade. These are one of the best versions yet. I was a little disappointed with the previous one - the 15 I believe. I’m flat footed and this shoe has been very good for me.

Purchased these for my husband and he absolutely loves them! Worked a nine hour day straight out of the box! Worth every penny.

First off, I do not run. Second, I bought this shoe because I have capsulitis of the second metatarsal, so I wanted a shoe that had plenty of cushion. Zappos must think I’m nuts because I tried 14 pairs of shoes. Two different Altra’s and Hokas. A few NB’s, some Brooks, Sketchers, etc. The beast was the last shoe I tried, why because it took a while for it come up in a search, and also because it was 160 bucks. Yikes! Before I decided to give it a shot, I was torn between the Hoka and the Altra Timp. Then as a last thought I bought these. And last but not least, they are frickn comfy. What I didn’t like about the Altras was that I have high arches and the Atra’s didn’t cut it. For the Hokas, both shoes had heels that did not feel right. But, both are super cushiony. The insoles of the beasts are like none of the other 14 I tried, these actually look like insoles you would purchase to replace cheap insoles. The shoe is very supportive, but not over the top. Now, if you have the same problem I have I suggest you measure your foot, because mine grew. I used to be a 12, but now I’m a 12.5. Another note, buy a ½ size up in any shoe if you have this condition so your toes move more and you can add additional cushioning, which I did. I added a flat inexpensive double cushion insert on top of existing insole and I still have plenty of room. This was not the case for the other shoes I tried. One last note, these are big, but not Hoka big and Atra toe box big, so they don’t look, uh, unusual/clowness.

I, too have been wearing Brooks Beasts for years, and frequently purchase 1 or 2 pairs a year for running. The Beast 18 is the best yet! These shoes are comfortable, and the cushioning is remarkable. From the first time I put these on, my running has been further, faster, and more comfortable than it has been for years. I felt no knee , hip or back pain at all. I also really like the look (I bought the grey ones). If you're a Beast fan, these shoes will not disapoint.

I bought 2 pair of these; one for my husband and one for my son. Each of one them big men. They wanted to take up running to drop some weight & the reviews kept taking me to these Brooks. Both men are very happy with the purchase and have asked me to buy another pair for each of them for the year ahead. Each has said, true to fit and width. Much support for the size 11 and size 14 in my home. I will give it another 30 days of wear before I buy again but so far great purchase !

These are great Beasts. Brooks does not put out the same Beast shoe each year. I have been wearing Beasts for years and sometimes the shoe fits and sometimes it does not. This year is especially good. The shoes are comfortable from day one. They are nice and wide, yet very supportive. I bought a second pair to make sure I get this years model in the year to come.

I have been diagnosed with a malady called 'drop foot' or 'foot drop'. For a few years now I have bought and returned so many shoes I have lost count. Finally I found a shoe that works. With the help of a small insert I am in heaven. The only thing that I could wear were sandels and now all is well. I am going to buy another pair or 2 just in case they change the fit. I use to wear a merrell shoe but they eliminated the style and I was told 'dont worry same shoe'. wrong! thank you Brooks!

I love these Brooks Beast '18. I also own two pairs of the Beast '16. Unlike some reviews I've read, I think the '16 are great shoes that offer great support and the '18 is a great successor. I tend to pronate and have some high arches. Now truth be told, I've never been happy with the inserts most sneaker shoes come with. But the Brooks is among the best, but still not up to my needs. So I replace them with the Sol Airr Orthotic Insole (available on Zappos), which I bought with the new shoes. And tend to replace once a year. I wear my sneakers almost everyday. By having the 3rd pair of Brooks, I can rotate them throughout the week, thus giving them more life, and allowing the shoe to relax. Lastly, these are a great black color uppers with a grey border on the tread. The Brooks logo is very subtle..

Can’t believe I waited this long to reorder these. I don’t want to wear anything else

Fit and size are true to size..shoes have been getting smaller and smaller over the years it seems. I originally ordered these in 11eeee and they were just too loose overall. It has been years since I could wear a shoe in 10.5 eeee which was the case before the ever shrinking shoes started being produced. These are much softer than the previous Beast 16's and out of the box considerably more comfortable, but time will tell with durability and material choices for this new version. These were not cheap and I hope they perform and last as well as my other Brooks shoes. The customer service from Zappos was the reason I was willing to take the chance on such expensive athletic shoes. My useage is primarily walking and gym use. I am not a runner, but appreciate a great stability shoe. Return process on the shoes that were too large was as advertised. Thanks Zappos

Oh Em Gee. These are the most expensive shoes I've ever purchased, they are worth every penny, and then some. Makes me feel like kicking myself for all the hundreds of dollars I wasted on so-so shoes on sale, all these years. These Brooks Beast 18s felt like they were made for my foot and my weight. I bought them because I've had plantar fasciitis on my left foot. It's mostly healed but good footwear is still a must. Especially because I walk 10K steps or more per day, like the American Heart Association says you should. These shoes are perfect for athletic and fit but overweight folks like myself. Extremely comfortable, durable, soft cushioning on the inside, roomy toe box for my wide feet, and I have not needed to use my expensive insoles (Tread Labs, if you want to know). The black and silver looks good with most of my office attire. I can and do walk all day in these shoes and never feel tired or achy anywhere. They're awesome! If you've been contemplating the perfect shoes for moderate pronation and arch support, look no further. These are the shoes I've needed all my adult life. Eat beans for 6 months if you must, but get these shoes. So. Worth. It. FYI, I had a pair of Brooks Beast 16s but they weren't anywhere near as comfortable as the 18s. a huge improvement.

I can definitely feel they are not for pronators. They are very flat and very stable. The sole flex is much less than the Brooks Adrenaline or Brooks Ghosts. They are very good stable, flat walking shoe.

Have worn Brooks Beast for years and they still fit me great.

I got these as an impulse before a trip. They came in fast as always(Love Zappos) . Not big on leaving reviews but these sneakers are amazing. I hiked, traveled and walked all week. they felt like I had them forever. Very comfortable I would say if you are on the fence go over you feet will thank you

My first pair of wide width shoes and I’m never going back. Didn’t get mine here though. But Zappos customer service is always top notch.

Total comfort and support from the first time I put them on. Not quite as beefy as the Beast 16, but great shoes! Looks are good and my feet love them!

I'm 6' tall, 200 lbs woman with flat feet, and these shoes are the only ones that support me and allow me to walk and run without knee pain. THANK you! This is my 3rd pair of Brooks Beasts, and I have loved them through the years.

I bought these shoes about one month ago. After about two weeks I noticed the fabric on the insoles beginning to peel. I contacted Brooks through they're website. About three days later I received an email saying I'd be sent new insoles. It's took about a week for them to arrive. They sent me insoles from Beast '14. They are the same size and maybe even a better quality. These shoes were quite expensive, but the quality of the shoes and the quality of customer service makes it worth it for me. As mentioned in other reviews the outer soles of the shoes do say Sixteen. The tab on the upper party of the tongue says Beast '18, and now the insoles of my shoes say Beast' 14. There are two highly reflective spots on the shoes, on the toe boxes and the heels. The side Brooks logo is also somewhat reflective. The tongue of the shoes original felt to short for my liking. However, it doesn't make the shoes any less comfortable.

Very comfortable shoe. Exactly what I needed. Shin splints disappeared!
