I do not have a lot of cushioning left in my knees but I love to run. These shoes allow me to keep running and not hurt.

These are officially my favorite of the Hoka series and I have tried so many. They fit and feel perfect and I use them for 6-8 mile a day walks.

My orthopedic surgeon recommended this shoe. He wears them and so do most of his nurses. He said with all the issues with support and comfort I was having. He thought they might help. I'm just upset I didnt buy them sooner. Best wearing and supportive tennis shoe I've ever worn. Will definitely be buying more. And I've told all of my friends that work and stand on their feet all day.

This is my 4th generation of Cliftons and twice I bought two pairs of the same shoe. I don't believe I'll ever change to another run shoe. You know you have the right shoe when you can focus on the pace and quality of the run rather than how a shoe is feeling. These Cliftons are magic on my feet.

I love these shoes . Wear to work where I'm on my feet all day on concrete floors. Also wear them to boot camp. I have arthritis in my feet so finding a comfortable good shoe is sometimes hard.

I’ve been ordering and returning running shoes for months now unable to find anything with enough cushioning and support to alleviate plantar fasciitis symptoms. These are it! Also so lightweight and flexible, and I was actually really happy with the style (they aren’t as big and clunky as I expected given other reviews, and I like the purple color a lot!) Also no squeaking - there was a review mentioning that and I’d been worried.

I love the Clifton 5. So much cushioning! I've been a loyal Hoka fan since they started, and fortunately the design has improved. (Some of the earlier styles were hideous, but I wore them anyway because they helped my plantar fasciitis and shin splints.) There are 2 things I do wish HOKA would fix. When you have such dramatic cushioning, it would be better to have it grey instead of bright white, to make it not stand out so much as an "orthopedic" shoe. Also, there must be a way to reduce the squeaking sounds the cushioning makes when you walk?
