I don’t like the way these shoes look, but when I put them on I thought they were extremely comfortable. They fit perfectly and have a lot of support and cushioning. I brought them to Europe with me and had extreme foot pain that didn’t go away until I switched shoes. Not sure what the problem is but I’ll never wear them again.

I have wide feet and bought wide. They still tore my feet up! I had blisters all over my feet. Hurts to walk in them!

I loved my Clifton 3 shoes. They were the only running shoes I could use without having my feet hurt after walking 3 miles a day. These shoes are narrower and just don't fit right. The Bondi does not compare. Why would you make so many changes to the Clifton shoe when so many people loved it? If you are going to make so many changes, I agree with the other reviewer...just make an entirely different shoe. I finally found a shoe that I loved and now I cannot find anything that doesn't hurt my foot. I have tried every shoe, Hoka and non Hoka, and cannot find anything that compares. The Bondi hurts my foot and I will have to return it. I am so disappointed with Hoka for doing this. Please listen to your customers and bring back the Clifton 3.

I really really wanted to like these sneakers. I gave them a week to see if my opinion changed. At the end of a long day delivering the mail, they caused foot, knee and lower back pain. They just are not comfortable. Its More like having cement blocks on your feet. So, they're going back today.

I’ve never tried out Hoka shoes before so I was excited to get them. I liked them visually however the fit was terrible. They are supposed to be a neutral shoe but once I tried them on it over pronated my feet and the arch dug into the bottom of my foot. I even tried a size wider but they were still very uncomfortable. They also have a negative heel so the stability was lacking. I will stick to my saucony shoes.

I am an avid runner in my early 40s. The Clifton 2 and 3 were both perfect and I was running faster than I did in my 20s. The 4 had almost no cushion- which is what made Clifton 2 and 3 so good. I would not even feel tired after a half marathon. Even the running shoe store told me the 4 was not even the same shoe. So disappointed that the 5 is just like the 4. It is a completely different shoe!

I have owned every model of clifton's 1 & 2 were perfection except for the insoles that were to thin and scooted forward every step I took clifton 3 was perfect in every way.....WHY HOKA HAD TO MESS THAT UP MAKES ME SO ANGRY So I waited for the Hoka , with high hopes Pros: I gave it a 1 star because of the purple is pretty my personal story I am NOT a runner any more due to health problems But these are always my favorite walking shoes. Unfortunately this model is NOTHING like any of the clifton's 1-3 why I don't like them Cons: The toe box is to narrow (again nothing like clifton 3 where the toe box allowed the foot to have complete foot expansion for a natural foot The bottom sole and inside shoe cushion is nothing like 1-3 The upper sole fabric is so stiff just sitting I cannot move my toes without resistance across my toes, I cannot imagine what that would be like If I could run again (I wear a size 6 in shoes and I always order a size 7 for running shoes. my toes are so pinched just wiggling them around but its the stiffness of the fabric, NOT breatable like 1-3 was. There is not as much cushion around the top of the shoe above the heal like Clifton 3 had the only thing this shoe has that non of the clifton have had is arch support PLEASE BRING BACK CLIFTON 3 with arch support and stop messing with this shoe Hoka had the most innovative design WHY WHY WHY CHANGE A GOOD THING !
