I'm gradually replacing all my socks with Darn Toughs! These are the only socks that don't rapidly wear away, especially at the back of the heal. Pretty much every sock I've ever owned seems to fairly quickly disintegrate at the back of the heel and/or at the sole, rendering a relatively new sock useless! Then I discovered Darn Toughs. They're cute, warm, and strong! Lots of fun designs and types (running, hiking, everyday). And they stand behind their socks! I'm usually a medium, for size 8/8.5, but can also wear a large, as my feet are a little on the wider side. Use the material as a guide, i.e. merino wool can shrink, higher % amount of lycra will give you more stretch. And if you find that the large is too small, I would definitely check out the men's line. Many designs are fairly unisex. I buy them for my husband, who unfortunately is not daring enough to wear the wilder or more colorful styles. His loss!

Great socks. Very comfortable to wear. Not too heavy but substantial enough. The blue color is perfect with jeans.

I have so many socks from Darn Tough and I love all of them. They are warm, cozy, fit perfectly, don't fall down, and launder well. I know they are expensive, but they are worth the cost. They last forever and the colors are spectacular!!

They are soft and warm, fit perfectly, and are not bulky like some wool socks. Expensive, but well worth the price. My only complaint is that I wish they were a little longer. They are "micro crew." Wish they made these as a regular crew sock.

I have a very small foot and these were sized perfectly (Size 5 shoe). These socks are warm and I know they will wear very well.

Love these socks. My son gave me a pair for birthday- boys never know what to get Mom - never would have paid this much for socks for myself and was just touched that the gift was from him. However, hands down- have never had such comfortable socks! Would wash and wear as often as I could. Recently he added another pair for me for Christmas! I love to walk and these are so cosy and comfy even while in the house. The best.

I love these socks and have used them for years. My big toe nail wears through socks quickly but the Darn Tough socks I've had for years are still doing well.

They are made in the USA and come with a life time warranty too! Darn Tough are my new favorite socks. I will definitely be buying more in the future.

Very comfy and cushiony. These socks fit me very well. Not too high or too low on my leg. I plan on ordering more.

Quality Fits true Takes washing well

I had heard about these and wanted to try them. My first pair and I really love them! So soft and great quality. Definately will not be my last pair.

What I like best: They fit snugly to the feet without binding or being tight. They work equally as well under a hiking boot and around the house, without shoes, for warmth. These are my "slippers."

The fit is perfect for my 8.5 size. Soft and warm---my favorite sock!

Hiked around Peru including Michu Picchu and Sun Gate and my feet and these socks were in perfect harmony!!! They cushioned my feet and it never felt like I was wearing them!!!

This is the second time I have ordered These socks. First let me tell you, I have nephropathy in my feet and have a problem finding socks and shoes to keep my feet happy. These have smooth seams, roomy in the toe area and wear well, my previous pair were bought about 3 year ago, still going strong except the elastic is gone, but still they stay up, not real problem. I ordered 2 pairs this time, slate which I really like the color and denim on back order. Because of the feet issue, this is what I do. Order 1 size up to give me more room in the toe area, my normal size would be a med. shoe size 8 N. Then I turn them inside out and wear them that way. They are even smoother on my feet this way. I hope this helps someone who has issues.

Darn Tough socks are the best. Comfortable fit and feel. The cushioning makes them more comfortable. This sock wicks away moisture, so your feet stay dry and warm.

I love hiking socks, even when I'm not truly hiking, because they keep my feet warm and cushion well whether I am wearing clogs, hiking shoes to take dogs for a mile-long walk to fetch the newspaper or sneakers on a Friday to work. The Darn Tough brand appeals to me because purchasing Made in USA whenever possible. I am replacing a pair of hiking socks that I darned for many years but they must move on to fabric recycling now. The color combination of this pair is very appealing to me and I hope to be wearing at least once a week for many years.

These Darn Tough socks are great. I tend to get very sore feet on a daily basis. Wearing these socks has made a HUGE difference. The extra cushioning in them provides comfort throughout the day. Great quality. Holding up through lots of use and washes. Have several pairs of Darn Tough socks.

I really like these Darn Tough socks. They are the most comfortable sock I have ever worn. They may be a bit expensive for a pair of socks, but they fit so snuggly and don't move around.
