I wear these hiking and love them! I normally do not like to buy any sock containing wool for fear of them being itchy. These are NOT Itchy! I would definitely buy more!

Socks don't get better than this! Darn Tough socks wear like iron, fit so comfortably, and keep my feet toasty warm all day in Michigan's cool and cold weather.

I already had six pairs of this particular color and style of Darn Tough sock previously purchased directly from the company, but when I saw that LL Bean now carries their socks and that I had enough Bean Bucks to get a seventh identical pair (guaranteed by the company to last a lifetime) I jumped at my opportunity. I also have another pair in a different style, which I like, but these seven are said to be enough to ensure a lifetime supply. (I bought a lingerie bag to use in the washer and dryer to prevent losing a sock--which isn't covered by the guarantee.) Darn Tough socks are the very best!

I have had some issues with the really thick hiking socks in that they develop a hole at the location of my greattoe. I have worn these a few times now and although they are not has heavy and thick, so far they are holding up better. They're perfect for hiking boots and I like the snug feel around my instep. Sort of cool color too!

I bought a second pair in denim after finding the first pair perfect. I walk, hike & bird in great comfort & they provide enough warmth in colder weather. Thanks L. L. Bean!

I love these socks, but I got them in the denim blue color. The color is so nice with jeans and the fit is perfect. They wash great, but I don't use hot water or a hot dryer. Also, they are very comfortable.

I wanted blue wool socks to wear with jeans; these are a great color for blue jeans.They are warm and comfortable, too!

These socks are so practical for any cold weather activity. Very well made and comfortable. Tightly woven, so I hope they will last a long time, as the company claims (lifetime guarantee). Bought a pair as a gift for a friend, who likes them very much, also. I like that they are made in the USA!

These are wonderful socks!!! They are soft, cushioned and great to wear all day keeping your feet warm and supported. I love them and recently bought another pair!

Very pleased with these socks. They are warm, padded and a great color. My shoe size is an 8 but I prefer a sock that is not tight so ordered the size L instead of size M.

The socks are super pretty , wash really easy, super comfortable and fit perfect. I would recommend them to anyone as they fit true to size. I typically wear a 5 1/2 or 6 size shoe in women's and they fit perfectly. NONE of that going past the heel up in to your Achilles with that knobby look!

My husband & I are avid hikers & I have several pairs already. I love these socks. They are comfortable & have great cushion. I have sensitive skin so must wear good socks to prevent blisters. Of course good hiking boots help too. I bought 3 pairs of these for my daughter & grandsons for their hiking adventures.

A seventy year old with big feet thinks these are the best socks ever! Wide forefoot, narrow heel, Taylor bunions, arthritis, none matter. Socks fit perfectly, are nicely cushioned. I am so very happy!

Warm and colorful.

Over the past couple years, Darn Tough socks have moved to the top of my sock list, taking the spot so long held by SmartWool socks. Darn Tough Micro-Cushion Crew Socks work perfectly for me year-round with the right thickness for comfort and warmth whether I have shoes on or not! (My daily shoes are Keens, ankle-high lightweight boots.)

I got the denim color and it goes great with my jeans and my LL Bean Navy Vista Camp Pants, which I live in. Best part is they are cushioned on the bottom, as stated online, and are super comfortable to wear with crocs or clogs and I wear them with my tennis shoes a lot. Very much recommend these. I wear a size 9 medium shoe and the large work very well.
