High quality AMERICAN MADE socks that work well in a hiking boot. They do not chafe your feet and provide all day comfort on the trail. Be sure to choose the right thickness!

The quality of these socks is fantastic. The fit is comfortable, and the socks stay up well. They're the perfect thickness for cool weather hiking, but I wouldn't wear them for a sub-freezing hike.

I was delighted to find these socks on sale at Zappos. The fit and comfort are outstanding. I don't notice seams during my hikes. The height of the sock is great, as well; they rise just an inch or two above my hiking boots. Also, not that the aesthetics are crucial, but the aqua-heather color is so pretty! I wear a size 10 boot, and the size Large (10-11.5) fit great.

I love Darn Tough socks for walking, hiking etc. They last seemingly forever and if you do run into a problem they are guaranteed for life. Can't beat that! These are comfortable with nice cushioning and should last me for years.

I wore these the entire four days I was hiking and snow biking in Leadville, CO. So glad I got them before the trip. Absolute life saver on the snow bike.

That it shrinks. There were no washing instructions and when I asked about shrinkage, I was told no. When I asked if I could put them in the dryer, I was told it was ok. well they shrunk. The material over my arch and ankle are so tight they are uncomfortable to wear. They didn't shrink from toe to heel

They felt very good on first wearing. I washed and dried in the dryer according to directions. They shrank a little, but stretched out when I wore them. They felt good on the second wearing also. Next time I will hang them to dry instead of drying them in the dryer. If your size is right at the cutoff to the next size, you might want to get the next size up.

These socks are so supportive and nice. I don't think I have ever had any socks this supportive. They help my feet with the padding gone in them.

I already own close to a dozen pair of Darn Tough socks, and these micro-crew cushion are among my favorites. They keep my feet from sweating, are warm in winter, and wash & wear so well. No complaints!

I haven't had these long so can't comment on their durability, but they are verrrry cushy and comfortable, and have plenty of room in the toe box. You do not have to be a hardcore hiker to enjoy these socks. I love the look of them as well.

This is my first pair. They fit well in medium. They are very warm. Which is exactly what I wanted. And they're not too thick they have cushioning around the toe in the heel so they're comfortable. Quite satisfied

These Darn Tough socks are great for everything from light hiking to kicking around the house. They're soft, warm, and the colors are great. The taupe and aqua heather are adorable. The large fits me perfectly, and I wear a size 11.
