A friend recommended Darn Tough socks for hiking, and although I tend to stay away from any kind of wool (doesn't matter what it is, I always end up itchy) I decided to try these. They are amazing! I never experience any kind of skin sensitivity, they are super comfortable, and they keep my feet warm and dry even after encountering squishy trail conditions or even the occasional water crossing. I don't mean to imply that they are waterproof; rather, they quickly wick the moisture away, leaving your feet dry and comfy. I won't hike in any other socks.
