I ordered a half size up based on the reviews but even these were way too small.

too tight in the toe box

I was looking for a pair of cute white sneakers to wear in town for running errands, etc, but unfortunately these shoes didn’t work out for me and I returned them to Zappos. The footbed seemed to have zero cushioning, and my 65 yo feet felt like they were standing on bricks. I ended up ordering some white Hoka Cliftons instead, which fit the bill nicely. The Cliftons may not have as sleek a profile as the Taos Moc Star, but they’re still cute and waaay more comfortable. The Taos Moc Star seemed all about style but cheaply made and uncomfortable.

I ordered a 1/2 size larger and usually wear a medium. I have a bunion on the foot, so the arch is a necessity. The shoes were very stiff and seemed narrower than average. I should have ordered a W, but never do because then my foot flops around. I really wanted these to work, but the shoe hit my toe at the crease and were very uncomfortable. Cute style though.

As many reviewers commented I found this narrow in to toe box (height from sole to top of shoe).

The shoe looked nice on and seemed to have good arch support, but the tongue was stiff and rubbed on my ankle when I walked. The overall sneaker was a bit stiff as well. It might break in, but I was worried about the tongue rubbing so had to return.

The sole is very flat and the shoe is heavy and stiff. Just not that comfortable for walking.

Nice looking shoes with lots of good padding, but I found the pressure from seam on top of the toes uncomfortable...and sadly had to return them.

Received the wrong size! I ordered 9.5 and received 8.5

Was not comfortable on my foot

I really wanted to like these shoes. I have high arches and it can be hard to find a pair of cute, casual shoes that don’t hurt my feet. While these shoes did have great arch support and felt comfortable on the bottom of my foot, the rest of the shoe was very uncomfortable. The back rubbed against my heel a lot. I tried heel cushions, but that made the back of the shoe too tight. I also had a lot of rubbing around my pinkie toe. Overall, the canvas material was unforgiving and uncomfortable, which is a shame, because the shoe is very cute. But I have to send these back.

I ordered 10.5 wide. The shoe was very small. And looking at the size on the tongue, it was obvious that it was a 9.5 and someone had written over the printed size and changed it to 10.5. So disappointed.

I sized up and despite having enough room in the toes, the shoes were too tight overall for me to feel comfortable with taking a chance on them. I don't have wide feet, but I think because of the arch support, there isn't much wiggle room in the shoe. Ended up returning.

I liked the look of these shoes, but they are just too small. I tried them in a half size and full size larger, and my toes were jammed right up to the end with both. This shoe has a label inside the tongue that misleadingly shows they contain leather. I confirmed with Taos that they do not contain leather.

Big toe bumping the end of the shoe, a first for this size. Returned the shoe, will need to order half size up when in stock.

These shoes are adorable but run SO small!

I ordered my normal size and these were really big. I really liked the style, but they did not have enough cushioning around the back of the shoe. They were very stiff.

I'm normally an 11 - the 11 fit perfect. However, the arch was TOO HIGH. I have high arches and these were pushing on them hard. Could not wear them for more than a couple minutes

The arch support is pretty good, definitely among the better shoes I've ever tried. Personally I felt the style made my feet look fat though even though I wear a 7.5 standard medium. The shoe is also kind of heavy with a low back. But again, the insole had great arch support and was impressive looking as an orthotic.

I liked the style, but they were a tiny bit too short and mostly they put pressure on the top of my foot where I recently had surgery, so that hurt. The support was minimal.

I so wanted these to work. They were exactly what I was looking for. But I almost knew, the moment I opened the box, that they probably would not work. The toes are very pointed. The heal and arch were perfect but the toe box is small and cramped and my big toe was pushed up at the end. A bigger size would have been wrong in the parts that did fit, so I returned them. So sad.

Fit and size were fine. I thought they were frumpy and looked wide on my foot.

The insert is huge, so if you need arch support you're all set. However, the footbed combined with the insert made it a little stiff to walk in, so I tried the show without as well. Ultimately, it didn't fit as well as Bob's Skechers did- the back of the shoe scraped painfully on my ankle, and I was wearing my usual socks so it would have given me a blister if I tried to wear them anyway. For the price, the style was pretty plain as well (I got white for wearing with dresses in the summer).

I ordered 1/2 size up; a full size up would have been a better fit. I have med to wide foot and med width normally fit fine, but this sneaker runs narrow. I got the Moc Star in graphite. I like style and hoped for comfort and a better fit. Excellent arch support however the front foot bed lacks real support - imo. I will keep the shoes, but can't use them for long walks.
