The inner sole is extremely thick with very high arch. Some reviewers said they just removed the arch and put in a flat inner sole however when you do that the back of shoe comes up too high and rubs the heel. Cute shoes. Just the look I wanted and well made but not comfortable

I ordered these in my normal size. They are adorable, but the shoe was just a little too short. Also ordered the next 1/2 size up and the heel was too big. I felt like I was in the 3 bears shoe store. I really wanted these shoes, but they just didn’t fit eight for me.

These were such cute shoes but they felt stiff and were very hard with no cushy comfort.. Maybe someone else will like them. Hope so.

I wanted to love them, but they were very uncomfortable for my feet. I even went up a half size. Super cute though, so very sad!

The "wide" was still relatively narrow in the toe box -- too narrow for my foot. Cute shoe, but I found the shape of the (removable) insole to be uncomfortable, like the hills and valleys were too pronounced and in the wrong places.

Sadly when I unwrapped the shoe, I could tell that my wide foot would not be able to get in the shoe. I'm short and average weight but very wide feet. I will be returning the shoes.

Not shaped for a truly wide width woman's foot. I should have known this from the shape of the sole, which Zappos thoughtfully provides. The MocStar sole is shaped more like a man's shoe. I wear a true 9 wide or D width, and this was more like a C width. I returned them.

Was expecting them to be much more comfortable. Felt very rigid.

So I did not know that “width” does not refer to how wide the shoe is, but refers rather to how high it goes...... so I am going to try this one again in the wide. The stitching on the medium width rubbed on my pinky toe HARD and every time my foot rolled forward as I lifted my step, it felt like my pinky toe was being smashed. I was so sad because these shoes have a VERY comfortable insole (WOW IT IS AMAZING) and are also super cute with everything. Unfortunately the medium width was too short so I will be trying the Wides. I hope they fit better because I am going to hate missing out on these insoles!

I ordered an 8.5 W. In some shoes that run wide, I wear a medium. Typically in a flip flop, I wear an 8, so I thought this would work. But my toe touches the end...Width is fine. Nice quality, a tiny bit stiff. Nice addition of two laces (one white and one matching the shoe). I can tel these are high quality, but they’re going back, not reordering next size up.

I ordered up half a size from my usual and they were too short. In the past when this has happened, I move to the next size up, and inevitably, the width also increases, making them a sloppy fit. I decided not to re-order this style because there were other issues. But first the positives. This is a super cute shoe and I liked that the laces go almost to the toe so a width adjustment is possible all the way up and down the shoe. The arch support is maybe the best I have ever experienced in any shoe without supplementing with some sort of an orthotic. The M width I need was perfect in 11M. But the negatives: not true to size in length. My toes jammed the end. At least half a size too short. The toe box is not roomy, not tall enough, although the shape of the toe is very good. The footbed cushioning is not there at the ball of the foot, so not ideal for sustained wearing on a harder surface, such as walking outside on concrete. However the heel cushioning is moderately good. The back rim around the heel is short, so I felt like I would walk out of them. I wanted these shoes for general walking around the neighborhood for exercise, and to be able to wear thicker socks for additional cushioning, but they barely slipped on with thin socks. The negativeds outweighed the positives for me, so they go back.

These shoes were super cute but too stiff and flat for me. I have high arches, and the arch in this was decent, but walking around in them, I felt like I was walking on concrete. Also, they squeaked something fierce on my hardwood floors. Not sure if that was me or the floor or what. So, they are going back like the Keds and even Asics that I have returned because of my long, narrow, picky 55-year old feet.

I usually wear a size 8 and ordered this in 8.5 per reading reviews. While the fit was fine, the insole/arch support was too hard for my feet. Not comfortable or soft enough. I really liked the style though but didn't want to replace the insoles. For reference I am 68 years old and do a lot of walking every day.

The toe box on the shoe is too narrow. Uncomfortable. The style is cite.

I ordered these in an 8.5 as suggested by Zappos. They are too big and too wide! I usually always need a wider shoe, but not in this shoe! Also, I didn't understand about the insole, and found it provided too much arch support, with my flat feet, that I did not need. So, these are going back. Otherwise nice shoes.

These are really cute sneakers however they did not look good on me as just too wide for my narrow feet. Looked and felt clunky (and somewhat heavy) but would probably work for normal width feet. The light gray color is good and would go with most everything I wear. I really hated to send them back but thought I would try the Taos Star as it appears to be more streamlined version. When you hit on the right Taos shoes, they are really comfortable and worth the extra money (and sale price if you can get it!).

I have high arches and plantar fasciitis and the arch support in these was good...not great, but good enough. I agree with other reviewers that ball of foot padding is virtually non-existent, but I have Pedag pads that could work. Sadly I have to return because they SQUEAK something awful. I ordered three pairs of these to try in different colors and the two pairs I tried on squeaked so bad on all surfaces (except carpet) that I didn't bother trying on the third and am returning the others. So sad because the olive color is lovely and just what I was looking for.

Sad to need to return these because they are so cute, but they are too flat to be comfortable. Even though the arch support is great, walking in these shoes makes my knee hurt.

The shoe is cute, and seems to be well made, but I can't find a size to fit. I tried a 10 and a 10.5, and my heel slips in both. The arch support is not much for someone who has super-high arches as I do.

Other reviewers said that these run a little small, and to order a size up than normal. However, since I wear the largest size they make (12) I couldn't order a size up. I'm sad to report that these were, indeed, a bit too small by about a half size. I'm disappointed because these are supposed to be really comfortable walking shoes and I like the look of them.

I really wanted these to work, but there's just not enough room for my high volume foot. Also, I didn't find the wides to be quite wide enough. I would have dealt with that if the top of my toes hadn't been rubbing against the top of the toe, that I can't deal with.

Really cute shoe with excellent arch support, but didnt feel like they had much cushioning. I ordered a wide, but they felt only marginally wider than the regular width top star and the heel was much too wide making the shoe feel very sloppy even with tight laces. I'll be returning these and ordering another pair of top star.

Arch support was a little overkill

My normal shoe ranges from a 7 to a 7w. I had originally tried on a 7.5 w, as there were many reviews indicating that this shoe runs a half size small; however, the shoe felt too small in length and tight in the toe box. I decided to order the shoes in a 8w. When they arrived, the shoe was too big and the toe box was still too tight. I will be returning them.
