I just bought these a couple weeks ago to keep my feet dry at work and they are working great so far. Very happy with this product and will be looking into more north face products soon.

Light and durable. You can wear them just walking arond the city on a hot or cold day. Great for trekking, and good grip for mountain climbing.

I am 6'4 and 300lbs and wear a size 14 Wide Shoe. I bought these shoes to start hiking in and going on walks after work. I have never had a pair of shoes that I can walk several miles in and have no feet issues. I almost wanted to buy 10 pairs so I will always have these shoes. There that great and being a bigger guy it's not like we have a lot of choices in good quality shoes. I am now a huge fan of North Face and will always buy there shoes!!!!!!

I reviewed under bobski with the torn toe. I called the company and they provided great help in returning the shoes. I am currently waiting to see if I get a new pair because for the water protection and comfort I couldn't have asked for a better shoe.

I've worn through four pairs of the Ultra 109 GTX during hikes on the AT, Tetons, Utah, Arizona, Banff, and week-end hikes during business trips to Australia/New Zealand. I'm also an avid distance runner and even though Adidas claims that the next generation running shoe is "improved", this is not always the case. Thus, I was a little apprehensive about buying the 110 due to my success with the 109's. I received the shoes and have been wearing them to work and on week-end hikes to break them in prior to a two week back-packing trip on the AT the middle of September. So far, I'm very pleased with the fit and comfort. As always, the real test is yet to come.

Swapped the beaches of the Caribbean for the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina and spent several days hiking with a four year old strapped to my back. Shoes proved comfortable, stable, not too hot and reliably waterproof. I had no time for breaking in and they were good straight out of the box.

I use these in a work application and so far I'm very pleased with the performance. They are reasonably light and breath well. Traction is great as well.

How can someone review this shoe and say that they run narrow even considering the fact that they have wide feet? A bit confused by that. You want a narrow shoe, you buy Salomon. The reason I buy these shoes is because they aren't as narrow as Asolo's, Salomons, etc., and they don't have a ton of arch support. Salomon's and Oboz have insane arch support. If you have flatter feet and can't stand shoes with a lot of arch support, you'll more than likely fit well in these. The fit is similar to the 109's that I've used for years. The 109's don't last long if you punish the shoes daily, but if you're a weekend warrior, you should get some solid use out of them. I'm used to replacing shoes often so it doesn't bother me. As far as length, I think you can get away with 1/2 size or regular size but that's completely dependent on your unique foot shape. Everyone's foot is vastly different from the heel, mid foot, and toes.

I love reading reviews in 2018. Especially people who vouch for how hardcore a pair of shoes are, then state, "I've only had them for a few days".
I can tell you that my first pair lasted 4 months, which is average in the terrain and the amount of use I put on them. The materials fail around the toe cap and the side wall, every single time. The 109's did the same thing. In the environment I use these in, there has not been a shoe or boot that has lasted more than 6 months before something fails. It's a simple concept...materials break-down when materials are exposed to changing elements and in arduous conditions....glue does not hold up in arduous conditions. That's common-sense.. I wish they would make a non-Gore-Tex version for the few of us who prefer a shoe that can get water logged, but dry out fast. A Gore-Tex shoe could take 3 days to completely dry out if it becomes water logged.
Anyway, I keep buying these because they fit my very low arch foot well. If I had a choice I would buy Salomon's, but unfortunately Salomon shoes are painfully narrow right at the arch area, so if you have a normal arch or high arch and regular width foot, Salmons (most models like the xa pro or speedcross) would fit like a dream come true for you. Not so much for me. Again these just fit and feel wonderful on my feet.

My husband loves these boots! This is his second pair. He did end up wearing 1/2 size larger than usual.

I am 6'3" 275 pounds. I can walk through shoes in 6 months. Not these shoes, they fit great. The 110 have gore Tex and I'm not a big fan of it cause it makes the shoe a little heavy and your feet won't breathe as good. Since the shoe is so well made I can tell it will last.

Bought theses shoes for a trip to Iceland and they were fantastic. My feet stayed dry despite the wet weather and were extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would purchase again if needed. Thank you TNF for your awesome products!!
