I love the Born brand of shoes and have bought many over the years. I've always found them to fit well, be well made, and last a long time. I bought two pair of this style, one in black and one in the lighter tan. I love the look of the shoe. Unlike my other Born purchases, these feel just a bit too long (size 9 normally fit perfectly). They were flapping off the backs of my heels when I walked. Rather than return them and go down a half size, I just put ball-of-the-foot cushions in them and that helped a lot. The shoes now fit well, yet are comfortable in the toe. I hope they don't get too loose again as they stretch out over time.

I sometimes order flats in a wide, I did not need it with these. They fit perfectly in my regular size. It took about a half day at work to sort-of break them in but I did not get any blisters or soreness. There really isn't any arch support but the cushioning is amazing. I like these so much that I bought it in Black and Tan (blush). Can be weekend or work casual.

These are gorgeous shoes! I got them in light tan full grain leather and they are just beautiful. Very professional looking and nice for out and about wear too. Comfortable with exceptional support for flats. A little stiff but that also makes them sturdy and very high quality.

I've worn all of my Born shoes for years, and I suspect this one will be no exception. The Madeleine's took a day or two to break in, but the fit is true to size and the style will match with anything from slim jeans to a casual dress.

As usual, these Born shoes are super comfortable, cute, and great quality. I am a doctor and on my feet all day. These shoes never let me down! The braid detail is very pretty. The leather is soft. I highly recommend!

Born is just a good manufacturer. Excellent flat sure for everyday wear. Very comfortable. I will order more colors.

I initially ordered half a size down like it says to but they were too small. Awesome Zappos customer service, I exchanged them for the right size. I wore them a whole day at work without breaking them in at all and they were still comfy at the end of the day.

The shoes fit perfectly from the start. I just ordered the regular size I always wear as suggested.

I really love these shoes. They are very cute and very comfortable. I agree that they run a little large. These are a simple ballet style shoe with some cute detailing across the toe box area. I highly recommend!

I loved the look of this shoe and so wanted to keep it. I ordered my normal size, 7, and the length was fine but the toe box was just a bit too small (and I don't have wide feet), so I didn't want to risk it. Perhaps it would have stretched out, but once I wore it out a few times to see, I would no longer be able to send it back.

Very cute and comfortable. I have feet that are on the wider side and these were comfy.

I followed the recommendations of other customers and ordered these shoes half size smaller than I regular wear and they were too tight. Born must have multiple suppliers of shoes which make them differently because I am constantly having to order them in either half a size smaller or larger than I usually wear (it was true for two different models I recently ordered). These shoes look great though so I will order them in a different size and hopefully keep them!

Beautiful shoe. Runs wide and large. Would have worked well for my wide foot, but needed 1/2 size smaller to keep the shoe on my foot. No 10 1/2 available. Cute and comfortable.

Very cute shoe, but the toe box was a little too cramped for my achy feet. I'm still going with 5 stars because the shoes are nicely made and were almost perfect for me. I ordered 1/2 size smaller and the shoes fit well. Sadly returned and will look for a square toe shoe.

True to size - I am an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. Cute style beautiful leather. I have some large bunions and the shoes still fit nicely with no pain- just and I mean just cover my toe "cracks". Light cushion in sole - not sure if I would walk all over Paris in them both they have some cushion. I am wearing them with Ped socks to break them in a bit (at home), but I think for an average walking day they will be great. The sole has some cushion but no real arch support - Super cute that is for sure.
