As usual, Born never disappoints. I don't like to wear tennis shoes while traveling. These will be perfect as they are very comfortable right out of the box. I ordered tan so it will go with everything, including work and casual clothes. Thanks Zappos!

My initial take on these shoes is that the leather is a little thicker and more stiff than previous Born flats I have owned but they are cute!

Love these! I got the gray (stormy blue?) and they’re perfect for what I need. The footbed is padded. There’s little arch support, but they’re very comfortable.

I ordered my normal size, despite reviews saying to order down, and it fit great with my no-show sock liners. The purple color is very subtle (almost like a deep brown), but because the purple is not quite any specific color, it looks great with everything. I've worn it with black, navy blue, brown... really everything. I highly recommend these!

These are great shoes. I have marginally wide feet and they fit me pretty well. Sometimes flats can be a challenge, but these are totally fine. I like that they are leather lined. The website says to order a 1/2 size down. I do not agree with this. I originally did this, and had to exchange for my regular size. Fortunately, at Zappos exchanges are super easy! Only downside is I wish they were a pointy toe, but these still look nice enough for work.

These run really wide! Narrow footed people beware. Too bad because they are very cute.

These are so beautiful. If I didn't have problem feet, I would want one of every color. Sadly, they are too tight across my "bunion" area, and I had to return them.

Fits true to size. Very comfortable. I ordered about 6 pairs of shoes from Zappos and these are the only ones I kept.

These shoes are true to size and are very comfy. The two brown leather options are very distressed looking. They look very worn in right out of the box. I ended up returning and waiting on more seasonal colors in the spring.

Unfortunately the edge of the opening rubs against my dorsal bunions; otherwise I would keep these.

Really cute and comfortable. And not too heavy (which sometimes børn shoes I've had in the past were).

I own these shoes in black and in the brown/red. I like them a great deal--obviously since I have two pair! They have more support than the average ballet slipper. They are stiffer than ballet slippers often are, which is good and bad. The bad--they take a bit more breaking in to be able to wear without socks (my black ones took a few months to be soft enough to wear without socks). The good is that they feel more securely "on" your feet than usual ballet slipper styles and thus are nicer to walk in. Style-wise, the contrast stitching is cute, though I think it makes the shoes look a bit more casual. The brown/red ones have a light colored sole, which isn't my favorite, but it's ok. Darker would have been nicer with the dark brown leather. At first the sole on the brown/red ones were slippery (didn't have that problem with the black), but after a few wearings they aren now grippy enough.

I have never had a pair of Born shoes that wasn't comfortable right out of the box and good to walk in all day, and this pair is no exception. They are true flats, so don't expect cushiony arch support (not that I expected it). They are narrow enough that they don't gap when the shoe bends. The color is medium tan (tawny) and the appearance is a bit uneven in tone (a true "leather" look). I would have preferred something more uniform, which is why i gave this pair 4 stars for style. Still, i love the shoes and I'm sure I will wear them out both at work and for casual "date" night events. Very happy with my purchase!

Very comfortable shoes, slightly loose. I think they will mold to your foot once they have broken in. Loads of cushioning for a ballet shoe.

These shoes are very comfortable, and the fit is very true to size. I almost always wear a 7.5, which is the size I ordered and they fit perfectly. The first day I wore them at work all day and they were not uncomfortable at all, even without socks. The only thing I would mention is that they are an odd color. I was looking for a gray shoe. When the color was listed as sky blue I was wondering how they would look. I wouldn't say that are sky blue, I would definitely call them gray. However, they are very light gray.

Needed a flat in the cognac color. Cute shoes but really hurts the top of my foot. Leather is so stiff at top of shoes around toe area that it hurts to walk in them. Have to return.

This is a beautiful flat, made by a quality shoe company. However, I was unable to get my foot into the shoes because the toe box was so narrow. I have a bunion on one foot, so I expect to have a different fit on that shoe. I have always worn 8.5 size, and have purchased Born shoes in that size which fit beautifully, so I am not sure why the fit of this shoe was so different. I would recommend AT LEAST a half size bigger than what one usually wears. Beautiful shoe !!

I originally bought these in red, they are one of my favorite shoes. The blue pair I just bought is a totally different leather and feel...the leather is hard and is giving me hot spots. I will be curious to see if the leather becomes softer and more comfortable. This is NOT the same shoe that I originally bought in red. Very disappointed in the quality.

The color and style is beautiful in this shoe, however, it said to order a size down because it runs large. That is definitely not true! I ordered my usual size (8.5) and it was way too small, short and tight. I have a similar Born shoe in a different color bought a few years ago and the size 8 (half size smaller than my usual) fits perfectly. Go figure. So my advice is to order at least a half size up.

Loved the unique color but rubbed my heal raw. They also cut into the top of my foot--all quite surprising for Born but have to return.

I am very disappointed in this shipment. It appears that these shoes have been worn before. One shoe has a stain on it and the bottoms were dirty. Very disappointed. Hopefully this is not a current theme otherwise I won't order from your site again.

They may run a bit small, they are the most torturous shoes I own. They are so cute, that I haven't thrown them away and keep pulling them out thinking I'll be able wear them for more than 5 minutes. Wore them for 1/2 day and my heels were literally rubbed raw and bleeding. Took weeks to heel.

I love these flats. They do run wide, but I think an insole will solve the problem. Otherwise they are perfect.
