I walk on trails a lot and this shoe is exactly what i needed for comfort. They are extremely light and cushioned for the impact of trails.

For ordering online, I was really happy with the fact that the shoes fit well without being able to try them on first.

I have used the Challenger ATR in 3 marathons (Bataan Death March Memorial Marathon), and they have been awesome. I am 50 with a hip impingement and arthritis in both knees. I completed all in respectable times - the most recent one I finished in the top 9%! I am not what one typically envisions in a marathoner, I'm probably 20lbs overweight. I think my knees would be in far worse shape if not for the Hokas. My one complaint is that the tread wears out quickly. I typically buy 2 pair per year. In the snow and ice I wear Icebugs, and that is usually 3-3.5 months that I'm not wearing my Hokas. Otherwise I'd go through 3 pairs. If Hoka could use Vibram treads, they would make the perfect shoe. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

I am a daily walker, 3-4 miles. Best shoe I've ever had, purchased my second pair. I will purchase only HOKA shoes.

I use for daily neighborhood walks and trails in the surrounding area. I rotate 2 pairs so always looking for sales to rotate out as they wear out.

Former marathoner, now run short trail runs twice a week, and Hokas have given me this opportunity. Since wearing them (about 2 years now) I have been able to at least run some.

Love my Hokas. These are my first pair. I bought them for work not for running. They are very comfortable. I always wear a half size bigger in running shoes so even though I'm not running in them I still went up a half size and they are perfect.

I walk paved trails. I was getting a lot of knee and hip pain. A friend recommended Hoka brand, and since I purchased my first paid a year ago, I no longer experience the pain.

I have been searching for shoes to wear at work to keep me from overpronation and to cushion against standing on a concrete floor. I have neuropathy and this is the first tolerable pair of shoes I've owned in a long time

I have 4 pair of HOKA and have recommended to my family and they love them too. Once you get a pair no other shoe will feel the same.

Wear them every day it is not raining. Have a Hoka OneOne leather, waterproof pair for that.

This is the one shoe I can put on new and go. I walked a 5 mile path the first time on and only felt comfort. I'm not sure about the traction as this path was pretty even and not too stony. I will be trying them out in harder terrain soon.

I have a bunion and metatarsal foot pain, but these shoes feel great. If you have trouble finding comfortable shoes, try Hoka One One!

These are the best sneakers I've ever owned. They are great for trail running/walking, treadmill running (my preferred way to run), and just general comfort. I am a true 9.5 and I went ahead and sized up to 10 because in the heat outdoors my feet swell a bit.

The HOKA Challenger ATR is THE best trail running shoe I found yet. The rocker design allows the foot to be placed on obstacles such as roots and rocks and "roll" over without any mishaps. I never experienced this in a running shoe. It tackles mud and slippery rocks with ease. I'm a HOKA fan forever.
