This is my third of fourth pair of these shoes. I am on my feet all day long and they give me the support I need. An improvement is that the laces were changed from round to flat which allows them to stayed tied.

I can stand for hours in these shoes. I use them for work where I'm on my feet most of my shift. My feet still good at the end of the day.

Love the high quality of this leather shoe. Fit is as expected.

I use them for walking outside on my daily walk around the neighborhood.

Was surprised how light this shoe is. I ordered the extra wide and it is very comfortable. Since I have plantar fasciitis in both feet, it's hard to find a shoe that fits. This is my new favorite shoe.

Have tendinitis in my foot as well as flat feet. My orthodics fit comfortably and I am more secure walking

A salesperson recently told me I was wearing the wrong size shoe.. And I was having trouble with an arthritic big toe. As soon as I put on the style 840 walking shoe ,I had a really minimal amount of discomfort in that toe. Overall these are THE MOST comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I now own 2 pair!

I purchased the black leather shoes for walking in the wet Pacific Northwest. They keep my socks dry and are very comfortable.

I'm on my feet at work 10-12 hours a day and these shoes are great for that purpose. I wear these shoes and when I take them off at the end of my shift, my feet feel great. Thank you New Balance for this awesome shoe.

I roll out on the outside of my feet supinate. I have tried on a million walking/running shoes looking for the perfect one to prevent this. I called NB customer service and the customer service rep spent 30 minutes researching the best shoe for my 'problem'. she was spot on!!. The shoes fit like they were made for me. I don't roll. Perfect flat padded stability. I bought two in the 840 line and I am soo happy.

I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable work shoes I've ever owned.
