This might be my 4th or 5th pair. They have been very comfortable from the start, I wear them every day. So far New Balance has maintained the manufactured quality of this shoe style. I marked No arch support because I need to always insert my own orthodic arch support--I had foot surgery. Since I wear them daily, every few months I need to order a new pair.

With ongoing foot problems these are the shoes I have been wearing for the past few years. I hope they don't discontinue them soon as they are what I can rely on and Zappos is the best price around.

As I've gotten older, my foot has become more wide. These grey shoes in a wide are very comfortable. I ordered the same shoe in blue and it seemed less wide.

I had been a fan of NB for years and had always ordered the 928's, but this time I went with the 840's, mainly because they were on sale. I just got them today and walked around the house with them on and so far, I love them. They feel very comfy, supportive and roomy. I ordered a half size larger than normal to give me that added toe room and be able to add diabetic inserts later. I'm sure I'll get lots of wear out of these like I have any other pair of NB. Excellent quality!
