The D width is truly a wide fit. If you're between B and D, opt for the B or medium width for these shoes. My toe box was larger than Alaska for the room! LOL :D

I am disappointed because I don’t think they are comfortable. I am returning them.

The shoe fit comfortably but didn't have much ankle support as i thought and the color wasnt what i ordered. They sent me light grey and not white. There s no color indication on the box.

I loved the look (nice suede) and got these for walking in; they fit (bought a size 8.5M) and had the usual wide toe box. I usually have to order a wide in athletic shoes but not with NB. Had to send them back though because the arch felt "funny" as if it was not right under my own arch (I have normal arches and perhaps slightly "fallen" due to my age of 64 years). Also, when I walked around the house in them, my foot tended to "lift" out of the heel and so had to tie the laces tighter to keep that from happening. Could not go a size smaller to help with the arch thing because I know from the fit of these that an 8 would be too small. Glad I have free shipping because I am going to keep ordering random brands until I find the one that is right for me.

The shoe runs slightly short. Arch support and cushioning is very minimal. I have been wearing NB WW877 which is far more comfortable - just wish they would make them in white.

These shoes are comfortable, good for walking . The color, which was the only non-all-black alternative, is unfortunate - it's pale beige suede. My feet look like giant marshmallows. Most unattractive and they soil easily.

Did not offer enough support for my feet. Leather top also looked cheap.

I bought the WIDE in the first pair but exchanged for EXTRA WIDE since it rubbed the bunion. The EXTRA WIDE were fine for the bunion but there was no footbed padding. Sadly I had to return this pair as well. Will try another brand. Thank you Zappos for being my shoe source all these years.

These are moderately comfortable for those of us with bunions and arthritic feet. I’ve been wearing for about 3 months or less, and today I noticed a hole on the side of the left shoe where my bunion is. That’s is disappointing since I thought the material was stronger than the typical mesh-type materials in many styles. I’m trying to find a sneaker with wide toe box that accommodates bunions that will last longer than 3 months.

The moment I put this shoe on it hurt for no reason.

I have just started to wear them around the house and they seem to be just fine. I will continue to NOT wear them outside until I am convinced that my orthotics in these shoes will not hurt my feet. So far so good, and if it works out in a few days, I will buy another pair. Because I have to wear my orthotics all the time with my diabetic feet, sometimes pain does not show up for several days. I hope that will not be true with these shoes because I really need new shoes and am hoping that these will be the ones. I am also a bit concerned that they will not cinch up tight enough. But they are new and need a bit of working in for that to be an issue. All in all, I think that these are going to be great for me.

I didn't like the feel of this shoe. The soles are very hard and stiff. I need a lot of cushioning underfoot. There was a bit of heel slippage on the left shoe which I knew would drive me nuts in the long run. The toe box is pretty wide, although since I ordered a D width, I expected more width than was delivered. The good: I like a leather walking shoe and this one is nicely done. I got the light gray which is really almost a white. The only pink is a tiny pink border around the NB logo. Otherwise a very, very light grayish white. The shoe is deep which would easily accommodate an orthotic if needed. Overall, I liked the appearance which screamed "quality!". Also these shoes are very supportive for an over-pronator (like me), although I really didn't detect much of an arch. But I have high arches, so unless the arches are crazy-supportive, I wouldn't be able to tell if there was any at all. A very nice looking, supportive shoes, but unfortunately, I couldn't get around the hard, stiff soles. My knee just didn't like it at all! But if support is your heart's desire, you should give this one a hard look.

It was very comfortable but also very loose in the heel and felt about a half size larger than expected. Had to send it back.

As others noted, the heel is very loose on the wide shoe.
