I use these sneakers to walk on my treadmill. They are very comfortable and my feet never bother me when I finish. They are constructed very well and I highly recommend them.

These are great walking shoes. I am a fast walk guy, I have used my original 840s for several years until the insides wore out, could not wait for these new ones and now I love every comfortable step.

These were recommended to my by the very nice advisors at NB. The 608s that I had previously been wearing were not lasting the 200+ miles per month I was putting on them. These 840s have NDurance soles and claim to offer better treadler and so far have been delivering. Very comfortable shoe and looks nice.

I wear them to work and am on my feet all day long. They are very supportive and comfortable.

I've been purchasing these walkers for more years than I can remember - maybe 25 years? They were first recommended to me by a shoe store when I was wearing a common brand, was having knee pain, and my Orthopaedic told me to "Throw them out and go to [the name of the store] where the owner is a runner and will fit you out with a good shoe from New Balance!" I did, and have been wearing them ever since, even now when I no long run, but Power Walk instead. It is a great walker!!!

walking - wear all day wright out of box - no faults

I have been wearing New Balance "almost" exclusively since 1996 and this new purchase won't change that fact. Shoe fits perfectly and wears very nicely.

I'm on my feet for most of a twelve hour shift. These shoes give me the support and comfort I need to keep walking mile after mile. I highly recommend them for anyone who has a lot of walking to do and not much time for rest.
