A good, durable shoe for someone who is hard on them. The last time I purchased this shoe (the leather version, Leather 840v2) was at at a freestanding NB store, so I was confident that the matching size ordered online would fit. I wear a size 7 1/2 4E, and it's not always an easy size to find. I ordered both the Leather and regular 840v2. Both shoes fit really well.

These are my favorite shoes. Great for long walks.

I need to have a normal shoe for orthopedic insoles. This is one of the styles recommended. I've worn them to work (I teach and am on my feet for an hour or two hours at a time) and have had ZERO problems .

Only one potential concern. I bought the 840v2 because I couldn't find the 840v3 (which I presently own and like). The recently received shoes imply they are Model 840, without the designation of V2. Don't understand why.

Finally found a new balance shoe in size 11 Xwide for less than $100

I wear them to work and I stand more than 6 hours and they are the best. I also want to commend the gentleman who suggested my getting the men's shoe since you were out of my size in women's. My foot Doctor steered me in the right direction with these great sneakers.

I feel this shoe fits well and is a comfortable walker!

Historically have foot problems, this shoe eliminates many of those problems so I have much less pain. By far the best sneaker that I have owned.

Shoes fit perfect right out of the box, excelente for standing all day

This was my fourth purchase of the 840 model New Balance shoe. It is the most comfortable of the various walking shoes that I have tried. The quality has been very good, with no defects or breakdowns and a long usable life.

Perfect size, great quality, Good website to find difficult sizes.

It really fits my feet, it's very comfortable to wear everyday especially when I'm doing my exercise.

Got my leather walking shoes...they fit like a glove as usual. These shoes are very comfortable although a bit warm on my feet...I'll enjoy them more when the weather cools this fall!

These are basically my everyday shoes and for walking in particular. My last 2 or three pairs have been 674s. The 840s were recommended by my podiatrist. His top recommendation were the 1080s but I like the style and the price of the 840s.

Started a NEW walking habit just prior to the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Needed a more solid pair of walking woes to support my new exercise efforts. So far this month 98 miles and 35 hours. About half with my new NB 840s.
