Customer Reviews New Balance MW840v2

I bought these for work. Even though they're vented, they're incredibly hot and my feet soak in them. Also, I was expecting them to be a lot more comfortable, but they're actually quite painful. I feel my feet throb any time I'm standing still for a couple minutes. I definitely would not buy these again.

i am using N.B 840 b.k shoes about 7 years . the main reason is rhe shock absorbing all over the shoes . it helps knees pain . and i was very satsified. now i bought 840 v2 . and i dont feel the shock absorbing like my old 840 bk. why N.B change the shoues ?

The shoes I received looked different. The left shoe has a smooth outer surface and the right shoe was a rough surface. What happened to quality control? If my shoe was a previous return, at least get the last remaining pebble out of the sole. I was shocked when I saw the pebble and I never even wore the shoes yet. For the first time in ten years, I was disappointed in the New balance product.

Very nice looking shoes, (and pretty expensive if I say so myself) but... the size 9.5 was too large and the 9.0 was too small, I dont know what happened. You know whats worse, I returned them on May 20th and today is June 3rd and I still haven gotten any news on anything.

Sneaker did not fit. Was not as described over phone by your representative either. Very disappointed

Was hoping these would replace the 587 for me. Tried the shoe on at home, took 3 steps and the seam was already rubbing my little toe, from 3 steps... They just look cheap, even the shoelaces were cheap. I felt like if I pulled the laces really hard they might break like cheap cotton strings. I returned them.

Work as a nurse and walk much throughout my shift. Can wear these shoes only 2 hours before they become unbearable.

I originally purchased the mw840 brown in a newbuck leather style where they are extremely comfortable and great for walking! Now the version 2 has a different sole and leather upper that causes blisters and ulcers to form on my feet. Unfortunately you've lost about 40% of your customers with the redesign of this great product! Have to return these and now face about 8 to 10 weeks in recovering from the ulcers developed from wearing them!

This is my 1st pair of V2's after LOVING 2 pairs of the original. Shoe is lighter and not as well constructed but it has also damaged by feet since I have neuropathy and couldn't feel what the shoe was doing, Lost the nail on my longest toe due to reduced tow box size...never happened with prior 2 models. Also tounge attachment interior padding is bad and caused blister cuts on both feet. I won't be buying these again. Why do companies change good products for worse ones and lose a LIFETIME of shoe purchases from me?

Left corns on both my little toes. Never had that problem with the original 840.
