When I turned 65 in Colorado in 1965, I found I needed shoes that provided better balance. So, since then I have purchased a new pair of New Balance walking shoes each year! This year is no different and the shoes fit and keep me from falling!

Have purchased New Balance shoes in the past. They run true to size and are of excellent quality.

This shoe is a very dark brown with high quality leather. It look great in the evenings, and I plan to use it for dressier occasions. It scores high for comfort, too.

Great look and style. Love the comfort and the extra cushion.

I saw these shoes at a store I have shopped at for years and they caught my attention.The salesman told me they were new and had no feedback for me.I tried them on and I was in heaven.I wear them daily to work where I do a lot of walking and I found them so comfortable I bought a second pair.These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in quite a while and I recommend them to anyone who is on their feet for extensive periods of time.

I work on hard concrete floors all day lift approx 20k in products daily these are the only shoes that I've found that keep my feet from hurting

While the show looks bulky, it is lightweight and extremely comfortable. Recommended by my podiatrist I cannot imagine a more comfortable walking shoe. Has decreased pain I typically feel from regular shoes.

THE SHOES ARE COMFORTABLE BUT 12 IS A SMIDGE TOO SMALL. I NORMALLY WEAR A 12, BUT NOT NB SHOES. YOU GUYS USED TO MAKE THESE IN 12.5, WHICH WOULD BE PERFECT, BUT NO LONGER DO. WISH YOU DID

It would help on Width to use the E scale rather than Wide and Extra Wide.

Feels good on my feet I wear them all day long w no issues.

I like these shoes but I actually prefer another shoe but that shoe was not in stock so I settled for these . The other pair I prefer are more expensive but I have been wearing that shoe for years. Hopefully it will be back in stock sooner than later so I can purchase.

I like the shoe well enough. It is a little blocky looking but it is featured as a walking shoe. Feels good even with my supports.

I will be wearing them this coming weekend for the first time but I'm sure I will enjoy them. I have been buying New Balance for many years. I was a runner for 30 years, participating in many 10ks, a few marathons a half dozen Cherry Blossom races and always wore NB. The reason I like NB is that widths are offered (I have a narrow foot) and also you are still represented as a manufacturer here in the USA.

I'm on my feet all day on a concrete floor, since I work in retail. I have to say the sneakers are very comfortable, I also had no break in period where I would have to suffer some pain before feeling some comfort. I will see how long this will last before another purchase.

Sneaker has a great fit and very comfortable. Problem is my husband and I both have New Balance, but holes develop at the toe in short term use.

I like these shoes but I also have the v4, which are better. These feel more like walking shoes while the v4 feels more like a running or more athletic shoe. Still, good quality and good support.

Satisfied again with another purchase of 840s. Only thing I'd like to see improved - I'd like to be able to use my New Balance Rewards on any and all purchases. Be fair to the consumer especially fair to loyal customer base.

Feel and look good. Just wish they were a lighter weight.

The 840v2 was a gift to my Son and he is well pleased with his shoes..

This is a nice multipurpose casual walking sneaker. It's not as comfortable as other models and runs small. I advise moving up 1/2 size. I liked that it came in brown and doesn't look like a runner, so you can wear this shoe with khakis in a pinch. Walking support is very good. All in all, I would purchase again.

I always buy these shoes but I don't like how the bottoms are different. But I still like them
