Everyone is different and so are their feet, but this shoe has been the best for me and I have tried almost every other shoe out there, along with most of the insoles. I use them in strenuous walking for exercise with an 8 lb. weight in each hand for about 3 miles each day and another 2-3 miles without the weights just for good measure in order to get more than 13,000 steps everyday for fitbit. The SL-2 last seems to be a near perfect fit for my narrow heel and the shoes have enough cushion to save my knees and hips from a jarring pace. I also wear a Superfeet Orange insole in them for added stability and quality cushion sole socks, the shoes fit like a glove. It is best to replace them at least every 600 miles (about every 4 months for me), and the insoles too, so I don't use them for casual wear as it is a bit expensive when you go through about 3 pairs of shoes and insoles each year for exercise alone. I have a pair of 847s and a couple of pairs of 574s for causal wear and they do just fine. Just as in running, the right shoes can make all the difference and avoid most of the hip, ankle, knee and foot injuries and discomfort you may have always thought were just a part of strenuous repetitive exercise. Another thought, check the manufacturing date on the tongue of the shoe, newer shoes seem more resilient, so don't keep them in the closet for months or years and expect to get the same comfort from them. Buy them, wear them out, throw them away, and get a new pair, you will always be happy with them.

These shoes are comfortable and true to size. Great room in the toe box. I work mostly on my feet all day and these are helping with low back pain.

Ran short. Big toe hit the tip of the shoe. The originals were way better.

I've been buying these shoes for over 10 years. I've tried others. I use orthotics. These shoes last, feel comfortable and provide great support.

I am on my 6th or 7th pair of these shoes.I originally purchased this shoe because it was recommended for the Plantar fasciitis problem with my right foot. I use these shoes with orthopedic inserts and they provide me with painless comfort all day.

I have found this walking shoe to really work well for me. Fits well and very comfortable. This is the fourth pair I have bought.

I wear these as my black shoe option at work. I have had back surgery, stand a lot at work and these shoes are great! Light weight so do not add stress when walking either.

Perfect fitting shoe and great price too. I was unable to get them in store because they were out of stock for several months. Glad I checked online toorder them.
