I needed a good pair of walking shoes that are supportive. These feel great! I have plantar fasciitis and recently suffered a hairline fracture in my foot. I already had a good pair of New Balance in the 1540v3 but wanted a different style. The 840v4 has good support with a little more cushioning than the 1540. These may run a tad longer than the 1540 which is made in the USA. I was worried about the openness of the mesh because I tend to have toes that want to poke through. I found some moleskin patches that you can adhere to the inside of the shoe and hope they help.

I love these shoes! Right out of the box they were perfect. I have tried so many shoes for daily walks and these are by far the best. I have bad feet- I'm prone to plantar fasciitis and ball of foot pain. These are like walking on pillows. No pain at all. I am also overweight which doesn't help. These fit great and are very room in the toe box. I plan to buy more.

Love these shoes, I have problem feet-bunions, narrow heel & a high arch. I added my orthotic and a thin dr scholls cushion and the fir great! I’m going to order a second pair - they are that comfy!

I've tried on countless shoes - thank you Zappos and thank God for Zappos! - and this is the one that I finally settled on. I have new custom orthotics with metatarsal pads that are making it hard to find a good fit. They can push the foot up and out inside the shoe and my podiatriast has ultimately tweaked them, which helps a little. I'll tell you about my feet so if you have similar problems you can decide if you want to try this shoe. I have narrow ankles & wide feet with bunions that aren't super big but my little toes are often unhappy with regular width shoes now due to a combination of the bunions and the way my orthotics are constructed. I sometimes get neuromas and lately got capsulitis because the fat pad in my foot is thinning. So, if you share any of these issues, give these a try, and don't be afraid to try the extra wide. I needed that extra wiggle room.

I always buy New Balance for the wide toe box. Nothing else comes close to the comfort. These shoes are good looking and very comfortable. I bought 2 sizes just in case and will be returning the ones that were too big. It’s a great option to have!!

I Just bought another pair. I tend to wear out the outside heel on my shoes and have wide toes but narrow heels. I also need some height in the toe area and often feel pressure on the top of my toes. In other words, I am hard to fit. These shoes are perfect for me.

I bought these because they were recommended for knee pain. I also have very wide feet, so I was really happy when I tried them on and felt how well they fit. I've been wearing them to work for about a week, and they have made a difference in my comfort and lessened the knee pain. I stand and walk quite a bit, so I really feel like these are a great choice. I might even buy a second pair.

I am an avid runner with several foot issues. This is the only shoe I have been able to run in—pain-free—for the past few years. I wear customs orthotics in them. Roomy toe box is the key feature for me. And the style is not bad.

I like these shoes. I wasn't sure of the size I needed because i usually try on shoes before I buy, but because of the pandemic I'm pretty much stuck at home and my old shoes were in very bad shape. I ordered a 7 and a 7.5 wide and the 7 fit perfectly and accommodate my custom orthotics. They're very comfortable for my daily exercise routine, with plenty of cushion. The style is a bit boxy but I don't care.

I usually stick with NB tennis shoes and these did not disappoint. I always order 1/2 size up in this brand and they fit great. I really like the gray color.

These sneakers are great! I have wide feet that need a large toe box. These fit the bill. I ordered a 7 WW and they are perfect. They are wide only where they need to be and the back part of the sneaker is supportive without risk of rubbing up on the back of your ankle. I will definitely be buying a second pair for the treadmill.

I love these shoes. I need a wide shoe and these fit the bill. I use to be a a Brooks Diad lover then the re made the shoe and it was to narrow these are a good replacement.
