I love the look of this shoe, but they were just too wide in the toe area for me. I have wide feet too, so that’s saying a lot. If you need a bunch of room in the toe, you’ll probably love these.

Size 11 Wide, good fit (width and length). Nice looking shoes. However, I am returning the shoes. The deal breaker (for me) was the shoes arrived in a basic shipping box - not the original shoe box.

My shoe size is a 7 or 7 1/2, depending on the brand, and I needed a 7 1/2 for these sneakers. With my customized insoles for plantar fasciitis, these sneakers are sufficiently comfortable, but I don’t love them enough to try them again.

Had to order 1/2 size larger, 8.5N, because my toe was at the tip of the shoe in my regular size. Comfortable, with adequate padding and arch support.

Wide and comfortable with a pretty cushy sole. I find NB runs a bit small. I wear a 9.5 W in other brands but need a 10 W in NB. These are no exception.

Have worn out a number of pairs, and this time went a size larger and wider. Feels good

fit ok but not comfortable.. heel slips up and down.

I have a bunion and need extra wide shoes. Thankfully New Balance makes a shoe that is comfortable.

I almost kept these. The shoelaces are stretchy. The ankles are heavily padded. A little longer than I'm used to and I was afraid I will trip. And they just look soooo wide. Couldn't do it.

Bought these to replace my beloved NB 1540v3, which sadly are apparently no longer being made. These are almost as comfortable as the 1540’s but seem to be slightly narrower in the EE width I need.

The fit and size were just right for me. I've bought several of this exact shoe for walking and find it is easy to order and know it works for me every time. I recommend it for walkers.

Fit & comfort good. Roomy toe box which is not always the case. Only slight issue...the tongue doesn't stay centered.

Expensive for a sneaker .

I liked the feel of these shoes on my feet comfort-wise, but they felt heavy on my foot. I need a lightweight shoe with the same comfort as these.

These shoes fit perfectly for a narrow foot and are true to size. The toebox is roomy and orthotics fit nicely. Not as cushiony as Brooks Ghost or Levitate, but still comfortable. My only criticism is that the color blue is not stylish like Brooks shoes. Style should not be sacrificed for Comfort and fit . Why are there not more shoes in narrow width?

The shoes fit well. They are running shoes so I think they are good for running and aerobic exercise. I wore them to work and after a few hours my feet were bothering me. I have very narrow feet. Therefore, I always tie my shoes tight. I think part of the reason my feet hurt was because I was working in one area and not walking a great distance. I am a sales associate at Belk. Maybe I could of loosened my shoes a little bit. There is plenty of room in the front of the shoe which is good. The laces are pretty easy to tighten and loosen, but they are too long. I'm still breaking these shoes in. I need more time to wear them before I can give a full review on them.

Finally have a pair that fits, I have a very narrow heal, these shoes ar onderful

My end goal with shoes is to find one that is both supportive yet comfortable. I want one I can wear all day and have no aches or pains at bedtime. I want cushioning but not sinking. I want width in the toe box but no slippage in the heel. This is my first purchase of the NB 840v4 and I'm happy with them because they give me all of the above. That being said, I also like a shoe that is flexible and not bulky so I can put it on in the morning and wear it for everything from walking about to taking part in exercise class. The 840 isn't that shoe for me. I don't think there is that shoe for me anywhere. So, for general all day wear I love the 840v4 but trade them out with my old discontinued NB Vazees for exercise class. The 840 is great if you're on your feet all day and don't mind a little clunky looking shoe.
