I have recently had my Ankle fused together and needed something I could wear with a fitting ankle brace and these was perfect!!! I had to have a 2E and New Balance had the largest selection to pick from in a 2E!!!!!

I have FINALLY found the oerfect shoe! I have a slightly wide foot, but not overly so. The fit issue I run into is that I have a high instep paired with a somewhat wide foot. I'm technically a C width in one foot and a B in the other. I have chronic peroneal tendinitis/tendonosis and wear orthotics, so I need a neutral shoe with a solid base and lots of cushion but not too mushy, PLUS I must have a 12mm drop to take the pressure off the peroneal tendons. This shoe fits the bill perfectly, and because it runs a bit wide, the B width fits like a glove. I've been a faithful customer of another expensive brand, but their shoes have been getting more and more narrow as the new models come out, so I went looking for a new favorite, and I found it! The cushion is awesome, but not smushystill supportive, and because it's such a good platform that doesn't cut in too much under the arch, it supports my orthotics correctly AND I can even do dance aerobics in thesemy foot is supported laterally without too much pressure on my high instep (like all cross trainers do to me). I am beyond thrilled with these. I'm just hoping they don't change the fit or discontinue these, which is often my bad luck when I finally find a shoe that works. Honestly, in 40 years I've never had a shoe that fits this well and performs this well. These are A+++++ EXCELLENT!

I'm not a runner or even much of a Walker any longer due to degenerative arthritis. The bottoms of my feet hurt so bad and my ankles swell. The salesperson seemed to genuinely care about my situation. I tried the shoes on at 11 am told the salesman to leave them on. I was out and about all day with less swelling and pain. A real miracle shoe to me.

Thanks to my wonderful NB associate at the local store who tried shoes with me to find my best fit, these were my 2nd choice shoes I had saved. I decided to go on and get them for back ups and they are so amazing!! So glad I got them too! Comfort and support are #1!

I needed to find a pair of shoes that fit my wide feet, provided cushioning and thes are prefect.

These shoes are perfect for my high arches and wide feet. Also the cushioning is great for my walks. The SL-2 shoe last is also the perfect fit for my foot.
