Great fit for a wide foot although I wish the toe section were not so "box-like". Feet are not wide at the toe region.

I have a very long and narrow foot (3A) which is impossible to find shoes for. These shoes even though they are a 2A narrow width are fine because I can lace them up tight and my heal does not slip.

I can take a women's 12N in some shoes - but had to go up to size 13 for these. The fit around my foot is excellent - nice narrow heel, and sufficiently wide toe box. Just a bit too short. I like the shoe, but exchanging for next size up.

I haven’t worn these sneakers outside, just in the home. My feet are happy! They’re stylish, comfortable and my arches are supported. I have ww/ wide feet and they are a perfect fit. I ordered my normal size. Enjoy.

I have narrow feet, and some shoes just don't give enough support in the right part of the heel area for me.

I grabbed these New Balance shoes on the advice of a friend, and because it’s so hard to find shoes in extra-wide widths. Overall, they’re pretty comfortable, but don’t have a lot of cushioning, so I wouldn’t wear them for a long work day. Also, if you’re looking for really roomy toe-boxes, a sole-to-sole comparison of these New Balances with my Brooks extra-wides shows that the Brooks extra-wides are about 1/4 to 1/3 inch wider. And that matters when you have wide feet. For reference, I’m not a runner, but my job requires me to stand 8 hours a day, so my shoes are very important to me.

I purchased a size 8.5 WW. The big toe on my left foot seems to hit very close to the end of the shoe (perhaps this is why Zappos recommended a size 9), but I also don't follow a standard lacing pattern to allow for less pressure on the top of my foot due to a neuroma. The navy and bright orchid color combination is nice. Overall I am very pleased with the shoe.

The heel cup on this version 4 is not as deep as prior version and is not deep enough to accommodate my orthotics.

I did not expect the huge difference in the thickness of the sole from one side to the other.

These are super comfortable running shoes! I like that the toe box is roomy so my toes don't feel squished. There is also some inner arch support that keeps my feet from pronating - which is important to me. I am using these mostly for fast walking and light jogging, so they work well.If you are a regular or hard core runner, I think you will need more support (when I was running, I preferred Asics). I gave these shoes 4 stars overall because, even though the New balance 840v4 are comfortable now, the sole is very thin in the front part of the shoe (balls of the feet to the tip of the toes). So, I don't feel fully confident that they will be comfortable over a long period of time.

The toe box is nice and roomy in this shoe - I ordered a 6.5 extra wide and there is no binding with my bunions for a change; however I found that this shoe's sole was not stiff enough for my big toe arthritis; as well as the 12mm differential making the forefoot closer to the ground. The shoe is lightweight and attractive however.

I am a New Balance fan because of needing a narrow fit. It does seem when I find the perfect shoe and it wears out the style is no longer made! So- I always have to search. This style is comfortable and true to size and width. I must have missed that it has elastic ties and am loving that I can slide into them for my early walk- laces also come with. My only negative is that they are not as well cushioned as previous pairs and have a hard “strike” on the pavement. No biggie I guess but I prefer a quieter step!

Fit great, feels great when new. Full time daily wears down in 4 months. Zappos takes care of me though. Love zappos!

Not a bad shoe for style. The toe box is too big. Since I underpronate, I need more stability to keep my food from sliding into a bad position.

Was really wide in the toe box despite being a narrow width. The length and arch support were fine. Would have kept them had it not been for the wide toe box.
