I received the Freeform Carry-On Spinner as a birthday gift. When I opened the box I was elated because of the brand Samsonite one of the most well-known travel brands in the world! My thoughts were: it is a quality product and will be durable. Plus, I loved the color, the style, and the ease of motion. However, I was extremely wrong. I recently had an opportunity to use my brand new suitcase for the first time on a trip to Puerto Rico. To my dismay and utter dissatisfaction my brand new suitcase now looks like it has been through the wringer. It looks dirty, used, and abused after one single use. I can only imaged how it will look after a few more uses while vacationing. Honestly, I am a little embarrassed to travel with it now. I do not recommend for anyone to purchase this suitcase due to low quality and durability. I recommend for individuals looking to purchase new luggage to look into other luggage companies for more durable and quality luggage!!! The proof is in the photos below.

Very unsatisfied on this purchase. On the First use the TSA lock hook broke. We have previously retired our old Samsonite and purchased three of the Freeform design. One broke on us on the first use. Our previous Samsonite lasted 10 years with just normal scruffs all around which is normal but never had issues on the zipper lock. Perhaps it's how the lock hook is designed on the TSA lock. Not very happy about this considering it's only the first use!

I am extremely disappointed to discover that the provided interior dimensions are FALSE. I purchased this specifically to transport a computer case that 20" long and 21.5" tall. The interior length of this luggage is AT MOST 19". However, it has lots of inward-pointing protrusions that cause the usable length for fitting a solid rectangular object to be at most 18". The corners are also cut diagonally, so the depending the thickness of a rectangular prism object you want to fit, the usable length might be up to 4" less than that. This luggage is useless for the purpose that I purchased it for,

Within 1.5 years it is already falling apart. Zipper has broken off, inside has torn. pretty cheap.

This bag was highly-rated on multiple review sites, so I purchased it for an upcoming trip. When I received the luggage I was impressed by the quality of the product. When I checked the airline website to make sure it would meet their Carry-On dimensions it wouldn't qualify. I recently checked the Samsonite Chart and only 3 out of 31 airlines consider it a Carry-On Luggage.

Bought Samsonite luggages for the first time because of the good reputation it has. Made a local trip using my freeform carry on and already got a dent on my luggage. Im worried that the luggage wont last long because of what happened after only using it for just one time considering the price is not cheap.

Fewer than 3 trips with this medium suitcase and the zippers (crown and pullers) are no more.

The retractable handle broke the first time I used this luggage, making it very difficult to use the rest of the trip. This is disappointing for a brand I have otherwise enjoyed.

I wrote a review last week and was very happy to get a response from the Samsonite folks saying we would be hearing from them. Haven't heard a word since. Samsonite folks I'm looking forward to talking with you.

I just got this pretty luggage at the recommendation of a friend. On my first trip with it, I checked it at one airport and picked it up two hours later at our destination airport and the zipper pull was missing. This is not inexpensive stuff! So disappointed.

We had our previous luggage for 10+ years, we decided it was time to upgrade and thought Samsonite was a reputable brand. After the first flight, they were scratched and scuffed, they look terrible. After I 2nd flight home, the top corner was dented and and I'm so sure they would survive many more trips. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the product!

I used this suitcase for the first time last week and it was scratched and scuffed much more than I think it should have been for a first-time use. I understand Samsonite is not responsible for the way baggage handlers treat the bags, but the bag should be durable enough to withstand normal wear and tear. I paid so much for this bag and have no idea how many more times I will be able to use it. The bad thing is, I bought my mom the exact suitcase for Christmas and now that this happened to mine, she's scared to use hers.

Used the medium sized luggage for only about a year and a half traveling back and forth from my college town to my home. The last time I came home the zipper popped open and split the luggage open while in the luggage was in the carrousel. If I hadn't put the zipper lock in place, it would have fully popped open and I would have most likely lost all of my belongings. Definitely not as high quality for the price, and something I wouldn't recommend buying.

Just bought the suitcase and brought it on an international trip. The surface scratches very easily which is a small issue. On the returning flight back home, I dragged the suitcase down the belt and realized that one wheel was missing. I've used tons of suitcases over the decades, and I've never seen a suitcase so flimsy and poorly made.

We bought two of these Samsonite Freeform carry-on for a trip to Italy. One of the handles bent and does not move up and down very easily. We expected more from Samsonite. I thought this was warrantied, but apparently it has to be sent in to be inspected by the repairs department before they decide if its a manufacturer's defect. Needless to say, thoroughly disappointed.

Handle was already half broken when receiving product. I'd like to get it serviced or replaced but the process is too complicated (have to bring it into a certain physical store, which is 2+ hours away from me,a or pay for shipping but it may not even be serviced). I have the large check-in size and have been using it well so I got the carry-on size right before my trip. I wish I'd returned it but it's already been used so now I'm stuck with a carrier that barely works.

Got this in blue one month ago. Looks like a disaster after one trip. Totally scratched up. Wish I hadn't got the whole set (two large and two medium).

I am a big fan of Samsonite luggage and was excited to purchase new pieces. After 1 trip my new spinner was left with a million scratches all over. It looked like I'd had it for 20 years already. I can't believe that Samsonite would create a products that scratches so easily. What a waste.

This item functions ok, but scratches very easily. Not the quality I was expecting for the money.

They don't have it. Was sent a totally different style & color.
