After years of messing around with cheap shoulder bags, I wanted to get something that made sense. This is an excellent commuting bag; I carry a laptop and other gear everyday, and this bag makes it easy. Highly recommended.

The bag has incredibly comfortable straps. I can add in my 8lb laptop, and a 5 lbs binder full of notes, and carry it effortlessly. It looks very sleek and modern. You can pair it well with a suit, or casually with your gym wear. The only con is that the bag width is a bit small. It is about 17 inches tall, 10 long, and about 7 inches wide. It does expand about another 2 inches after you open the side clasps. Great for school books, commuting, even travelling!

This is a well designed, nicely functional pack. Pockets seem to be right where I want/need them, but not too many to over-geek the bag. Really like the refined and modern look. All-in-all it's near perfect daily work/commute pack.

This backpack is great for commuters who need a backpack for work, especially if you are taking public transportation. It has a well padded and secure laptop pocket and a second pocket is much bigger than it looks. This backpack overall this backpack is lightweight, slim, great quality, and excellent for people who are use it for commuting to work.

This is my new go to pack. It's just the right size that i use it for work, running around town, and on the weekends. Super comfortable pack padding and straps. I like that the laptop compartment is separate from the main pocket. Tons of organization to keep all my stuff organized.

The Division Pack is great for day travel or a short overnight trip. The bag has plenty of pockets, some of which widen the bag, and a separate compartment with a nice thick padding to protect your laptop. I like the handle on top as a carrying option. The thick padded straps are also a great comfort to my back and shoulders. The bag seems to be made up of a very strong material, which leads me to believe that this will last for a very long time. I would highly recommend this product to others.

I love this bag, I would purchase this bag over and over! It has lots of padding so I don't worry about my computer being damaged and it has lots of pockets to carry everything I need to have with me throughout the day. The straps are super comfortable

Hi,This backpack is extremely lightweight,Good for everyday use.Its made up of very good quality and feel very comfortable because of its padded shoulder straps as well padded back to prevent your spine bone from being effected with any pain,Inside the bag it has padded pocket which is good enough to carry your notebook safely.I would definitely recommend this bag to every who carries their notebook and other items.Its safe to carry everyday and good enough to lasts for years.

Upon receiving the Division Pack, my initial thoughts were that it wouldn't hold much, but I was certainly wrong! It's size is deceptive, but once you unzip it and take advantage of the built in compartments you'll see there's a lot you can take with you. The sides open up to allow for more width in the main compartment, the straps and back are nicely padded and there is a removeable chest clip to help with stability and weight distribution. All in all it's a great bag with a sleek look.

I LOVE the Division Pack because it handles so much better than other products I have tried. I love that has a padded pocket, so that my laptop can be secure while I am carrying it. I would by the division pack for myself and my children as they hit high school because it is comfortable. The straps are comfortable as well. I had never heard of the division pack before participating in this program. I would definitely recommend "The Division Pack" to others. I used this product to carry my everyday essentials while travelling to work. I used it for my laptop, lunch, wallet, etc. Again, I love the padded features, ie. Straps, laptop pocket. I was given the Division Pack for free in exchange for my review. All opinions are 100% mine.

The Division Pack is perfect for my commute to work! It's lightweight but sturdy, and extremely comfortable. The wide padded straps offer great support and even distribution of the backpack's weight. The many pockets on the inside of the largest compartment allow for organization so small items don't get lost down at the bottom of the back, and quick retrieval (I.e. when you need to pull out your Ventra card for the L or the bus.) As a commuter, it's also nice to have the smaller pockets on the inside versus the outside; it keeps your items secure and out of site on public transit during the commute.

When I opened my package containing this backpack I was instantly impressed. It looks very sleek in person. In use, it holds my laptop and all the other things I need to carry around. It is well made and seems like it is made to last. I'm really happy with this bag and would highly recommend it!

I got this for my wife. She likes the quick access to the laptop in the back. Side holder perfectly fits her water bottle and it seems sturdy. She mentioned it is a bit tricky to get things out of the front pocket because it is a bit narrow. Otherwise she is really happy with it. She said it is well put together. Colors came out exactly like they looked online and the bag feels weightless when carrying items. Wish the water bottle holder was larger/there was another one on the side.

I love the fact that I could customise the colourways of each panel. It looks very personal and professional. The bag is a fraction larger than what I would usually require on a daily basis, and rather a rigid body, so the contents are a bit loose inside. It would be nice to have the ability to have reflective patches, an embroidered name, and/or soft side Velcro patches on the bag exterior.

I previously had the Foundry backpack for four years, so I was looking for something different/new. This backpack very much feels like it was made for travel. The main pocket is very spacious. The laptop sleeve feels very tight though, so a thicker work laptop would not fit, even with the right dimensions. The front pocket is hard to get into, but it does prevent water from getting in, so definitely by design. Overall, love the sleek feel to it!

Great bag, well made, but the buckles are loud. Love the custom colors. Comfortable and fits all my things well.

Where laptop is stored has good protective paddings. Decent size main storage. Decent extra storage at the front. My only complaint is the black heathered fabric. The quality is great, but for the ones who are looking for a "black" bag, the black heathered fabric will give an overall gray color aesthetic. I wish I could replace it with regular black fabric, but there is no return for the custom designs..

The outside front pocket is stiff to get into due to how the rain flap laps over the zipper, and I would like another loop or two higher up or on the side for my carabiner. Otherwise, It's a really great backpack.

I like many things about my custom Division backpack. Most of the material is thick and gives the bag a sturdy shape. The pocket layout is pretty good. The shoulder straps are very well padded. I like the padded top handle and the padding for the back is quite nice. Two criticisms. First, the custom silver reflective material on the sides is very thin; I'll bet it will be the first thing to tear. Second, the chest compression strap is "mounted" too high on the shoulder straps. It hits my windpipe! I'm of average build, so that isn't the problem. I also know you can move the chest strap among three positions. The chest strap is basically not usable. I don't know if other Timbuk 2 bags have this issue. That said, I like the bag and use it every single day.

I was able to put a laptop and an iPad Pro in this backpack, as well as everything else I needed to carry on my flight. The padding on the back makes it so comfortable despite how much I packed into it. And the colors I picked for the design were exactly as pictured. Only one issue preventing a 5-star review-the fabric is very stiff. It's hard to get into the front pocket. I'm sure it will lose some of the stiffness as I use it. I've only taken it on one trip so far.

Overall I like the Division backpack. There are a couple of minor details, though, that keep me from going 5-stars. On the plus side, the rear-side laptop compartment is great, as is the clean and uncluttered exterior design. The luggage handle pass through strap is a very welcome feature. And as is usual with Timbuk2, the materials and construction are top notch (but as a long-time T2 user, I was a little disappointed my custom bag wasn't made in SF). I do wish the front pocket flap was gusseted like the main compartment flap so that getting stuff in and out of the front pocket was easier. I also wish the water bottle pocket was big enough to hold a Nalgene 32 oz. bottle, and that the zippers were a larger gauge to make zipping and unzipping smoother. But as I said, my dislikes are minor things. Bottom line, I'm enjoying my custom backpack.

Overall the backpack is nice however mine came with a large black stain right out of the packaging that I cannot get out and then the reflective material is a mesh where in the pictures it looks like a solid fabric.

Great work bag overall. Bummed to there is no quick access smaller pocket for keys, badges, etc. Just the large front pocket.
