This is probably the best commuter backpack that I've used in my life. Perfect size, spacious for my Surface 3 Laptop, and lots of storage for my peripherals. It's very comfortable on your back, and it keeps your water bottle or canister tight in its sleeve. I highly recommend this backpack to anyone that is in the market of buying a new backpack for business or committing purposes. If you see this backpack on sale "BUY IT IMMEDIATELY" !!!

This is the perfect work backpack. Super comfortable and easy to use. The features and compartments are perfect. It fits everything I need and nothing that I don't. Laptop compartment is nicely padded and gives me confidence that my laptop is being kept safe. Highly recommend. I got on sale but would safely say that I'd pay full price for one.

I've never actually had a backpack that fits my laptop *in the laptop part of the bag*. It'll fit free standing in any backpack, but never in the laptop pouch. I decided to finally invest in one that would fit my laptop. For the first time since getting my MacBook on my 18th birthday in 2014, I have a backpack to carry it in!!! I am so thrilled. I also look much more professional in this. I ALSO got to personalize it to keep some ~PINK~ and still look professional ;) Any time I can fit pink and professional together, I do! I bought one for my oldest as they headed off to college. It lasted through the four years and multiple trips. This one is for my youngest headed off to college in a few weeks. These backpacks are durable and stylish.

Excellent bag! fits my 16" MBP perfectly and provides just enough space for other things I need on the go. This is the second bag from TimBuck2 that I've owned and I recommend them all the time.

The various places to put things has changed my commute for the better.

I am a school principal and needed a bag that looked appropriate to bring to meetings, while also providing functionality. I saw another principal in my district with a TIMBUK2 bag and had to get mine right away. It is a well built bag, and looks very professional.

Sleek. Stylish. Functional. Can carry everything I need for work and school (MacBook Air, Surface Pro, Folio, Moleskin, Paperbacks) and still feels ten times lighter than my previous messenger bag.

This backpack is very well made like all Timbuk2 products. Well designed. Helps me (someone who not an organized person) stay organized! I really like the size and it works well as a work bag and I have even brought it as a personal item when flying. I will say if you are looking for a weekend bag or a bigger pack pack this is probably not for you.

This is one of the best backpacks I have ever owned. Beautifully built and wonderfully functional, this laptop is great for work, especially if you're using a MacBook Pro 15". Only complaint is that I wish the bag had more small compartments to separate your items.

I purchased this backpack for my adult daughter who moved home to Utah and telecommutes for work in the Bay Area. She flies back and forth frequently and needed something that didn't look like a Dora the Explorer backpack. This backpack is sturdy and handles all of the techie gear she needs to travel with, without sacrificing style. Laptop pocket is super protective and all the pockets are very usable and secure, not just for looks. She is loving it!

This is my go to work and travel backpack. I'd wanted to "trim" the bulk from my previous backpack. The laptop access is wonderful and I can nearly carry all the things I find necessary for a day of work. This backpack is definitely not a "pack for a weekend getaway".

Really comfortable. Solid construction/materials . Nice looking, easy to use. haven't used it long enough to comment on durability. Hopefully it's made as well as my tbt messenger bag, which has lasted years and years (I switched to a backpack because I know lug around a laptop.)

I bought this for travel - its a bit larger and more sections/pockets than my everyday Timbuk2. It fits under the seat, good interior pockets. Water bottle stays secure - hasn't come loose. There is a long side zipper that making access to the bottom of the main pocket easier. This bag is going places!

This backpack holds my work necessities and gym gears. I can fit a laptop, chargers, mobile phone, lunch box, accessory case, bottles, clothes to this bag from work to the gym and it remains sleek.

Stylish and high quality work bag. Laptop pocket with padding is really nice and main compartment is big enough for all essentials. The front pocket is a bit hard to easily access due to the zipper design and too big for quick essentials.

Our entire family owns Timbuk2, backpacks, messenger bags etc.. I bought this one cause I wanted something that is stylish around the office yet it has space to carry overnite change of clothes. It is exactly what I was looking for, I am an IT Consultant with Deloitte and I travel every week to client locations all over the country. Items I carry on this backpack: 1. 14.1 laptop 2. Bose headsets 3. Toiletry bag 4. iPad mini 5. Water bottle 6. Accessories + cables I love the feel of the bag on my shoulders, the straps have enough padding to haul for hours. I am going to see how it handles the Winter in NY.

I got this when I started commuting again after a few years away from work. I love it - I'm 5'5" and the size perfectly works for me without being too big or bulky. Plus, it's got nifty organization in the main pocket. The separate compartment for my laptop is great because i don't have to jam it in with everything else. This is exactly what I needed and I'm so please I purchased it.

Perfect balance between functionality and size. Great for daily commuting without feeling too bulky.

Perfect for my laptop and love that design and quality

I purchased a few bags from a few places to test them out with all my stuff, and this bag was the winner. It's a tad smaller than I thought it would be, but everything fit just fine. I carry my 13" Surface in the laptop carrier, and can squeeze a file or two in there with it. I use the main compartment for the accessories, my day to day needs like sunglasses, my full lunch bag, and a few other things. Front hidden zipper pocket holds my wallet for easy access, as it was falling to the bottom of the main compartment and hard to get out. As others said, the water bottle pocket is pretty small, so I stash my cell phone in that spot, it's perfect! Some reviews said the straps weren't long enough, and either they changed the design or those people didn't see that the straps come rolled up, so you just need to un-bundle them and they are plenty long. I agree that the buckles on the sides are annoying and useless, that's my only real complaint with this bag.

I recently purchased a 15" laptop and was looking for a backpack big enough to fit my laptop but not too bulky...this backpack was the perfect solution! My laptop fits comfortably in the bag and there is still plenty of room left for other items. In addition, it doesn't look like I'm transporting my home in my backpack. It's sleek and functional! I'm very happy with my purchase!!

Love it - very sleek for the daily commute to the office. Love the organization - pockets inside, key holder, side pocket for a water bottle. The only small gripe I have is that the straps don't hold their place very well - I have to tighten it frequently because it keeps slipping and become longer due to the smooth straps. But it's a quick pull every time so it's not a big hassle.
