I love the style and the customization options, but the bag is much smaller than I thought it would be. I am going to return it.

Color online was waaaay off. Really not a nice fabric. Disappointed but can't return it because it's "custom". Very disappointed

The fact you can customise a bag to suit your taste and still have a semi professional looking backpack was a major plus point when I made my initial purchase. First reactions were okay, the packaging was terrible considering the price of the product and arrived in a thin plastic bag with no protection within the bag. So if the bag was to rip which in most cases they do in transit the backpack would get damaged. After reviewing the backpack i was initially quite happy with it. After taking a further look, I noticed that my custom reflective panel on the front had a defective line running just off centre down the front of the bag. I emailed Timbuk2 regarding the issue and I've heard nothing from them. Just an auto response, GREAT! Good to know they care about there customers. I had high hopes but have been extremely disappointed.

I bought this bag as a work backpack. I love the way it looks but hate the way it feels. I'm 5-11, 175 lbs. It feels too tight in the shoulders no matter how much I adjust. Also, both pockets are just big buckets - it's a pain to retrieve anything, especially in the small storage pockets in main compartment. They are completely ineffectual because they're so deep. The rain guard constantly gets snagged in the front bag's zipper, which is just a big pocket, too. Bummer buy.

I'm really disappointed in this pack which I've now owned for 13 months. Although the pack itself doesn't have any wear, the shoulder steps are worn through where the rubber coating meets the fabri on the strap. Very surprised given the usual quality of timbuk2.

Have been a longtime fan of Timbuk2, but was recently disappointed in the brightness of their colors and how drastically different they appear. I understand that individual monitor settings will impact they way colors appear, but was shocked by how pale a color was that appears to be bright online. The "golden sun" yellow in my order appear more like the "camel" color offered. The color was so off, I had to check my order to confirm that I ordered the color I wanted. I then then checked my new bag to my two older bags and then really saw how different they were. As seen in the attached photos my new "golden sun" yellow bag appeared more faded than bags than my 5 year old "Cordura Yield" bag, or my 10 year old "limeaide" bag. I knew sales are final on custom orders, but was disappointed when customer support responded to my concerns explaining that the difference was attributed to a difference bag materials and color offerings and that nothing could be done because all sales were final.

I purchased the division backpack limited edition oil spill with lifetime warranty. It is a great backpack. Matte base with a reflective "oil spill" reflective design on the top. However after a few months, the oil spill design cracked in multiple places and I asked to see if it can be replaced. Reached out to customer service with pictures and they asked me to ship it to their warehouse for an inspection. After some time, they reached out to me saying that the oilslick design is no longer in stock and that they will send me an equal replacement - the division laptop backpack with typeset color and no option to return my oilslick bag. After receiving the bag, I realized that the material was very different and texture was a glossy nylon feel rather than the matte finish from the original bag. It is so ugly and I am embarrassed to use it. Currently, I have the bag sitting in my closet and am looking for a new everyday bag. I have attached images of the oilslick design to show the difference in design.

I recently purchased this backpack in hopes of a sleeker looking, more versatile & space efficient pack than my Ogio. At first, I was impressed on the look. If you travel with a backpack with the following contents, this pack is not for you and I'll explain why after - Headphones - Portable Projector (Same size as a headphones case) - Computer Charger - MiFi pack - Business Cards - Apple AirPods - MacBook adapters - Etc. The reason being is in the lack of functionality. All the pouches in the main compartment fill up the space of the compartment behind it so it makes it virtually impossible to fit everything in each pouch. Also, I have fairly normal sized hands and I've literally tipped this backpack upside down on my passenger seat while driving just to retrieve my AirPods to take a call. I've also put my RXbars in those pouches and when I can't remember which pouch it's in and I'm driving from meeting to meeting, I've lost my "patience" going through each pouch to find it. In summary - If you're a business person thats on-the-go and rely on where you put something last in your pack for quick access, this pack IS NOT FOR YOU. Save yourself the stress of missing an important work call while on the road because you couldn't get to what you needed in time.

I ordered the Division Backpack as well as the 'Stealth Folio Organizer' in the same order. When I saw the delivered package I had a bad feeling. It is sent out in a Timbuk2 PLASTIC shipping BAG (Like the one clothing retailers use to ship basics clothing like a t-shirt or a pair of pants, Items that no one cares if they arrive wrinkled). I hadn't opened the package yet but I was annoyed at how smooshed it was. And sure enough, when I opened it, the backpack had all these ugly creases and dents. This is not the shipping carriers fault, because for the amount of money the customer is paying for this product, there should be much better packaging. I didn't get free shipping either, not that people with free shipping deserve damaged product. Because of the poor packaging there are scratches on the Backpack that are clearly visible. There are also brown scuffs on the material and I don't know how those got there because the Backpack was in a clear bag. this is not how I should be receiving a backpack like this. A quality or professional backpack should not look rough and creased . Also, I had a question about my account when I first placed the order, but because TIMBUK2 has weird customer service hours, I sent an email. They sent me an automated email giving me information on their return policy, but that wasn't even my issue. They never got back to me after that. I don't think I ever want to order anything from here. My nice backpack doesn't look nice at all. I should have taken my money elsewhere. and the stupid organizer is cheap looking and wrinkled too. I'm so irritated.

after 6 months of use the fabric delaminates. the "lifetime guarantee" does not exist since no one answers the demand for care. I can definitely not recommend either the bag or timbuk2

I've owned this backpack for 14 months now. The waxy material is not forgiving to even the slightest scratches and the shoulder straps are worn through where the wax coating is now separating from the fabric. I would definitely shy away from the timbuk2 wax fabric products.

The front pocket on this backpack is so inaccessible that I literally want to rip my hair out. I'm typing this right now with one hand because my other hand is stuck in the front pocket. It's waayyyy to difficult to unzip because there is this annoying lip over the pocket, which I guess keeps rain out, but it also keeps my hand out. It's so hard to unzip completely. And then, once you unzip it, your items are so deep in the pocket that you can't reach them. And God forbid the backpack is full of stuff, as these items will push agains the pocket, trapping everything in it and forcing you to have the tactile strength of a rock climber just to rip out whatever is in the pocket.
