I’m going to get these in a smaller size. I allready have a black pair I love to wear shopping. They’re comfortable and I need brown ones to match purses. Merrell shoes are always comfortable.

Like others here have said, they feel narrow, and overall a bit smaller than expected. I had bought a half size larger than my norm so I could wear heavier weight winter socks. This will have to wait until these stretch or the heavy fuzzy insole is removed and replaced with a thinner Scholls type insole. These replace a pair I’ve had since, oh gosh, the nineties, and whose uppers have worn to the ugly stage and which are too small for me now anyway. Feet do become larger as we age. These are keepers, because of the Q-form construction, a must if one is on one’s feet a lot.

Based on some reviews and my experience with shoes that have fluffy interiors I ordered one-half size larger but was not necessary after all. The problem I had with these shoes was more with the width because the shoe is formed more like a brick than a shoe, very straight when viewed from above so it was tight all around but not from the fur so I had to return them.

Comfortable right out of the box. Not especially attractive, but it's a good house shoe or slipper and perfectly all right for running errands in town. The Andorra color I received is a nice rust (I don't see anything mauve about it, as one person suggested). Ordering the recommended size 7 1/2 instead of my usual size 7 turned out just right. These don't provide as much arch support as Danskos, but they are lighter in weight than Danskos. I replaced the insoles with my own orthotics.

Love the Encore Ice Merrells, but this pair looks defective. The suede near the ankle is lighter and looks worn on both shoes. Will return and perhaps reorder.

I adore this shoe, they are the best winter slides. I just wish there was a synthetic version instead of suede. Merrell used to make one -- I try to avoid suede when there is an alternative.

I normally wear an 8, but I purchased an 81/2 due to the fluffy lining and my desire to wear heavy socks. They are very comfortable and cozy with wool socks. If they didn't have a fluffy lining, I would wear an 8.

I wear an 8, ordered 8 1/2, could have gone with 9. If the top of your foot is high or you are prone to ankle swelling, this clog goes too high up on foot.

Very comfortable, great color. I wear a nine usually but ordered 9 1/2, wch fit fine. They do run a bit narrow, but this size works for me.

Very comfortable on first walk around the house but true test will be 30 minutes or more walking my dog. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 but reading the previous reviews I thought I’d better order an 8. Glad I did because even the 8 seems a little short in the toe box. But I think they’ll be ok after breaking them in. Look to be good quality although made in China which I don’t like.

I purchased this in black. The shoe is very comfortable and supportive. It fits true to size in length and width. The fuzzy lining is VERY warm and feels cozy on bare feet. However the shoe can also be worn with socks. My only complaint would be the Merrell emblem on the front of the shoe. I don’t like the look of it there. Also, this shoe looks a bit like a durable house shoe or slipper because of the fuzzy lining.

This is my second pair in black of these shoes. They're wonderful because I use them as winter slippers mostly...cozy and comfy and easy to take off and on. I've also worn them while shopping and driving, and they perform well. To me these ran a bit small...I'm an 8 1/2 but had to get the 9 both times in this shoe. No discomfort right out of the box. The test of a good shoe.

What shoe I wear greatly affects my back pain. Once I discovered Merrill shoes many years ago I rarely wear any other brand. I've generally purchase the shoe with the fleece lining but I am very disappointed that they discontinued leather and have the brushed suede . This type of shoe get stains easily, but has not dissuaded me from continuing to purchase them over the years. I have also purchased dress shoes by Merrill and I'm very happy with them also. They are a wonderfully supportive shoe. I have convinced my husband to also try the Merrell shoe for his back pain. He has been amazed at the difference a well constructed shoes can help back pain.
