I bought the jacket for cold midwest winter. It is stylish, warm, waterproof, and seems to be well made. But it is way too large for my taste. The length is ok but there is a lot of room around my waist. It might be good for layering though. I am giving 4 stars because of the fit. But otherwise, it is a nice jacket.

Looks great. Needs bigger pockets inside and out.

This is a great looking jacket that is super warm. It blends style with function really well. I also appreciate the rippled hems on the sleeves and waist; they really help keep the warmth in. However, there are a few things that bug me about this jacket. First, the stitching on the exterior pockets looks poorly done in some places, especially on the bicep pocket. Several of the loops were pulled out when the jacket arrived. Speaking of the bicep pocket; there is no faux leather TNF logo on my jacket... not sure if it was forgotten or if TNF decided to not include that detail on this item; it is listed in the product description as I write this though. The jacket also has a tendency to puff out in the center of the chest when fully zipped as well.

I live in Greater Toronto Area and commute to downtown for work. This jacket keeps you really warm for Canadian Winters. Its light weight, looks stylish, comfortable and warm.

I work in city , live in the suburbs. ...a good product to meet both life styles...i would recommend this to friends

Was looking for a winter jacket and almost settled on a Canada Goose products ($1000+) but glad I found this jacket. Price for value is great! Its warm and has a clean look so I can wear it out casually or on top of suit for work!

Kept me really warm at -50c. Great for Canadian weather

Really warm Stylish Good Quality

I use this jacket for casual wear, it looks very nice and is really warm. The only thing I don't love is the fit since it is a little larger than the model. But other than that this is a great jacket!

This jacket is very beautiful and nice but is too wide and long even that I ordered Small size and I am not that small. It's not comfortable at all. The design is great and I love it but is terrible to wear

This jacket is a great coat. It looks great. I bought a Medium, I wear Medium. It is a bit large for a Medium, but it is thick.

Fit finder said I was medium but small was more my size

For the price I expected a better fit

I don't understand. The last Gotham style jacket had many pockets and very very stylish. Now this updated version is plain and bare minimum compared to its predecessors. A small complaint about my jacket. The body of the jacket is very warm but the sleeves I don't think was packed enough of down because my arms are still cold even with a sweater on. Bought this jacket to replace The North Face Buzz Saw jacket. Which seems a little bit superior jacket than the Gotham II Wish you updated the Buzz Saw jacket to fixed faux fur hood, waist cinch and waist gator. And left forearm pocket.

Casual everyday use

Great coat for warmth. I used it in -40C, with 20Kph winds this morning and did not get cold at all. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but the coat needs better pockets. The side pockets should be zippered and there should be another inside pocket on the right side of the coat. a couple of those mesh style pockets inside for holding your gloves like the Helly Hansens have would have been nice as well. Other than that this coat is excellent.

great for winter

Lightweight and warm, exactly what I was looking for.

I usually start using the jacket when it gets to around 40 degrees. I really like the style of the jacket, the fit could be improved as the jacket puffs up too much in the mid section when zipped up. The elastic in the sleeve and bottom area also seems to be loosening up already. But it is a very stylish jacket, the heather green is the way to go.

For the price it would be difficult to find a better coat. I might prefer more pockets or some sort of interior seal on the wrist cuff but, overall this jacket is insanely warm and very, very stylish. I'm a big, big fan.
