These are my first pair of Merrells and Im loving them. I was skeptical about buying comfortable shoes online and if i should buy a halfsize bigger but these were perfect for me. My toes were getting shredded with my old shoes and now they dont hurt me one bit. I love hiking incline so these work perfect for me.

Very comfortable out of the box. I appreciate the Gore-Tex waterproof feature for those less than dry hikes! And, looks great as an every day shoe.

My daughter got her pair first and was sold immediately on them after walking and standing in rain at the gun shoots. She convinced me to give them a try. Wow is all I can say. 100% waterproof, comfortable to wear, easy to clean, and did I say comfortable to wear. I have even worn them at work as a busy nurse, and my feet didn't hurt. I would highly recommend these shoes. Only thing different I would like to see is the opportunity to purchase them in different colors.

Was looking for the best hiking/walking shoe and this came up recommended. Wore these right out of the box with no breaking in and they were wonderful. The plus is they are waterproof so I don't have to worry about hiking through standing water anymore! Feel great and have gotten compliments just wearing them out walking. So far they have been the best shoe I've owned!

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and required no breaking in. Also hiked during a rain and completely waterproof as advertised. I would highly recommend.

This is perfect for short hikes.

I bought the shoes for my wife about two weeks ago, she wears these for daily work and weekend hiking. The shoes are very comfortable with great support. No more feet sore while hiking more than 10 miles during the weekend.

This shoe is great. Very comfortable, sturdy, keep my feet dry, and has a good grip. I bought these for work and they are perfect. I work outside on an asphalt parking lot, rain or shine. I walk about 75% of my shift. I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend. I have bought a second pair in a different style and now im thinking about a third pair.

Comfortable right out of the box for my foot. Lightweight but lots of support.

I needed footwear with really good support as well as waterproof for the upcoming winter here in Boston. I read all the reviews in MOAB and decided to try. Wow great comfort and support right out of the box, I had zero break in time. I am basically on my feet all day walking around on concrete and these are great support for my feet. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for support, comfort and waterproof! These have it all! Only thing is I usually wear an 8.5 but it seems in Merrill I go a size up to a 9. It was better for my toe room. Seems these days though I find myself buying both sizes to decide which one fits best in a lot of brands. 5 stars for these and will be purchasing more MOAB in the future. Fit comfortably out of the box.. Stylish...

These boots keep my feet dry. They are so comfortable that they're the only shoes I want to wear. Very happy with my merrells

This is a great shoe. The only reason I'm returning is because many of the comments said to size up. I normally wear a 7, so I ordered a 7.5 and they're too big, even with wool socks. The 7 I ordered fits perfectly. So, it may take a bit of trial and error, but well worth it. Great features in a light package.

Just like my MOAB mid's that I've had for 4 years, these were comfortable right out of the box. Went out for a 4 mile hike with my dogs on muddy trails and thru puddles the day I got them, and I didn't have any problems. My feet stayed dry and were able to breathe. The shoes supported my feet over rocks and roots and no blisters. I've worn them for normal use as well and have been comfortable in them all day.

This is my second pair of this great hiking shoe - it is made with quality material, the fit and footbed are so comfortable. Merrell shipped them quickly and this is my go to footwear for many things happening outdoors.

These boots do not need break in time. This is my second pair of Moab's. The first pair are still going strong, but a heavier boot, and the boot I wore to hike my first sixteener!! These fit the bill for my non -sixteener hiking where I want a lighter weight boot! Wore these straight from the box on a 7 mike hike with no blisters!!

These shoes were amazingly comfortable straight out of the box. I hiked through muddy and water laden trails this rainy winter in the Pacific Northwest, these hiking shoes kept my feet dry. (I used my usual all season hiking socks). Before I got these, my feet were soaked through in my other hiking shoes.

This boot was a great purchase. I bought it just before hiking in the Grand Canyon. They were very comfortable and offered great support. They were lightweight with good stability.

Very comfortable amnd perfect for my trip to Egypt! I got these right before my trip and took a chance on not havong to "break them in". They were great and managed the uneven surfaces of the ruins very easily. Could wear with or without socks.

Needed a shoe for walking 4 plus miles when temps are at freezing or below. So far this shoe has kept my feet very warm and dry. Very pleased with the quality. The only negative is a small one, I use orthotic inserts in my shoes and these shoes do not allow enough room to put the orthotic in and have a comfortable fit. For this reason that is why I gave it four stars.
