Wow what a difference. This pair of boots really helps my knees/ankles when going on hikes. They provide great support, while being light and easy to walk in. They are perfect for summer/fall temperatures with the ventilation.

I have now had the chance to take several hikes along the Mermec River bluffs, and I love them. They are incredibly comfortable, give me the stability I needed for my ankles on the trail, and they are cute, too.

I have a high instep and a wide foot, difficult to find shoes and boots that fit. I usually wear a wide when available in a 7 or 7.5. I ordered this in 7.5 wide. Perfect fit wearing a Merrell boot sock. No cramped toes, as toe box was very generous and will be able to wear thicker socks in winter. Can't wait to put some miles on these boots. Thanks Merrell!

Great overall shoe for hiking. They do not need time to be worn in for a longer hike. I would recommend this shoe to anyone.

I'm not a hiker, but I needed a work boot for working in our wooded acreage. These are solid shoes, keep my feet dry, and are comfortable. Highly recommended!

I'm thrilled with these boots. I ordered Merrell in the past and I ended up returning because they ran a little small so I ordered a half size up and the fit is perfect! Im so excited to have these as I rolled my ankle a couple months ago and the pain has caused me to lay off the trails for a while. The ankle support feels amazing. I'd highly recommend these high quality affordable boots.

It's was a little wider more that you expect but with insoles will be good. Very comfortable my regular size is 7 but I got it in 7w. Love them.

I started looking at Merrells because they are one of the only brands that make hiking boots in a wide width. But when I tried on a few other brands, it became obvious that the Merrells were the best choice overall. I've only worn them on two hikes so far, but have started to leave them on when I get home because they are so comfortable and make my feet feel protected. The fabric seems durable, the Vibram sole is stiff but not uncomfortable, and the height of the collar is just right. Love my new MOAB 2s!

I bought it for my wife. I ordered one size big after considering the thickness of socks but it turned out 100% fit exactly. It's a little bit heavier than I thought but not too heavy.

It's become harder to find non-waterproof hiking boots. I didn't want uncomfortably warm/hot feet. They are comfortable and don't make my feet look huge (I am only 5'3") in a 9 W.

Great for right out of the box. I needed the wider width as the waterproof 8 was too snug and too hot. Happy with this boot!

I have wide arthritic feet with bunions and hammertoes. After a fall injuring a foot, my usual walking shoes hurt. My ankles hurt and would roll while walking. With my Moab2 boots I am able to complete my daily walks and feel secure with almost no ankle pain. The wide toe box does not bother my hammer toes or bunions at all. The boots are easy to get on and off. I am so happy with this purchase.

I purchased the Moab 2 Ventilators after wearing the Moab 2 Waterproof boots and finding them to be too warm for the summer. The Ventilators fit & feel almost exactly the same as the WP version. They are comfortable right out of the box, roomy, and very good on the trail. The Ventilators are still somewhat warm when hiking in the summer months, though they are slightly less so than the WP boots. Even so, I am happy with the boots and will keep using them during the summer months!

I've just started hiking with my husband on some very challenging trails, and realized quickly that my old hiking boots were not good enough. The reviews on these are all true, really comfortable, great ankle support, and wide sized to accommodate wide toes if you need it! I bought my usual 8.5 in wide, and double layering with one pair of cotton blend workout socks plus a pair of wool hiking socks over is a perfect fit. First hike yesterday felt great, very little break in will be needed.

Was the only hiking shoe we could find that my step daughter found comfortable with her wider foot and high arch. Highly recommend.

I bought this shoe about 2 months ago. They were comfortable right out of the box.They gave my ankles the necessary support! I love them!

I bought these boots for my new job. On a typical day, I am on my feet for about 5 hours walking through uneven, rocky fields. They did not disappoint! They have excellent arch support, sturdy construction, good grip, and good ventilation. My feet stay comfortable even when it is 90 outside. I also have very wide feet. Sometimes D width is not wide enough. I ordered these boots in a 9W and they fit perfectly!

I'm over 55 years old and finding that my ankles need more support so for the first time I've bought the higher top version. I've worn my new boots for about 8 hours of hiking, so far and absolutely love them. I feel like they propel me forward. I was nervous buying the right size on line without trying them on. Since several foot surgeries I've been on a quest for a shoe with a wide toe base, cushioning and support. This one delivered! I've been on several hikes and walks in these and it went better than I'd hoped.

These boots are where comfort and style meet durability and adventure! I teach science in a homeschool coop in Detroit. I use these boots everyday. They perform great on trails and for everyday activities. I use them for my field labs, worm farming, gardening with my sons, hiking, and on family walks. These shoes pair best with socks that are thin to medium in their thickness. Air circulation flows less with thick socks and makes these shoes fit too tightly. Overall this is an awsome product! I would definitely buy it again!
