This boot is nice looking, The wide was comfortable for my wide feet. The sole is cushiony. I always size up 1/2 size in Merrills. BUT the arch support was in the wrong place. Itried the waterproof version of this shoe and the arch is in the right place.

I have worn Merrell women's Moab boots for the last 7 years. I've had two pairs and decided it was time to get a new pair. But, this one is different. The insoles aren't the same and my feet have been hurting for the first few days. There are a few additional things that feel a bit cheaper about the shoe, like the laces. I'm not sure why Merrell would change something that was so perfect!

I got these as a replacement for a great pair of merrell boots that have had a long life. After a day of wearing them, I was surprised that my pinky toe was getting a blister since I don't remember having that problem with the last pair. . .

Loved the comfort out of the box, but just 1 day wearing them my leg hurt from the stability bar rubbing against it. Tried it again the next day, with the same results. Wish it was more comfy. Loved everything else about them.

I bought these last year and finally put them on to hike. I noticed that they felt small. When I compared the sole to my prior hikers from Merrell, which were the same size, the sole was much shorter. It is really a great shoe, and I wish it were sized correctly. Sadly, I don't have a receipt of box any longer, since normally Merrell's fit very true to size. Keep your shipping materials until you actually use the product!

I am a women's narrow 8.5. My foot is 10 inches long. I purchased an 8.5 and they are huge puffer clonkers! They are definitely a half size too big and they are definitely for someone with a wider foot or someone who is heavy set. I am slim and these are just ridiculous looking on me. Also... I am quite confused because my local shop has Merrell hiking boots and I am an 8.5 in those... these are just a bizarre pair size-wise.

First, know that the olive color is very much GREEN and not tan. The wide also seems to have more length then the normal size as well. I find most shoes to be snug in the toes but these are wide all around and not just in that area. The heel is by far the worst part of this shoe - its extremely bulbous and sticks out very far and sharply in the center compared to the rest of the bottom of the shoe. You can feel it while walking/standing and it gives the whole shoe a very uncomfortable uneven feel. The shoe doesn't sit flat or have a nice heel/toe round transition, it sharply rotates around this one part of the heel.

I have ordered this product FG or several years and an 8.5 has always got, but not this time. I returned it and am waiting for size 9.0 to arrive. Sure hope that size works!

I love Merrell hiking shoes/boots. I've been wearing them for years but when I ordered new ones they were too narrow on my feet . I had to return them they were too narrow even when I ordered the wide width. The wide width was narrower than my regular width Merrell Mesa's that I bought years ago

I'm so disappointed in these boots. The sole is very hard and dense and causes a great deal of impact against the sole of my foot. I ended up having to buy shock absorbing insoles and that made a big difference. However I'm still having some pain. Its a lot better though than without the insoles. This is the fourth pair of Merrells I bought, the last two have been very uncomfortable to a damaging degree to my feet. It seems Merrell shoes have degraded in quality because the first few boots I bought from them years ago were great. I'm upset because after spending good money on them, I feel like I have to wear them out, and my feet are not happy about it.

Fits true to size, looks very cute on but not a lot of support, they feel very flat and very close to the ground ( if that makes sense). Also there was no arch support.

Shoes are very wide. I will be returning them. Tried going down a half size but they are still too wide. Definitely don't feel like regular width.

First time buying this brand and 30 minutes of an 8 mile trail and these were rubbing on the back of my heels and cause painful blisters. Miserable. Structure has no flex in heel, and this was not a case of the wrong size. Can't return because I've already worn them in COVID-19. Huge loss and im still without hiking boots.

I wore this on a 26+ mile hike. I expected Merrell quality and support from this shoe. 2 stars- It started out as comfortable 1 mile - Vibram traction? I slipped when I stepped on the wet drain grate, and the floor tile in the train station 5 miles - chaffing at the left ankle (through the sock) and sore arches 8 miles - both heels are really sore and the chaffing is really bad, 18 miles -both heels are swollen, blisters on both big toes, I could not take another step - HIKE IS DONE, These shoes are now relegated to the pile of "never again". I wish I could return them to you, as I no longer wish to have them anywhere in my house, garage, front yard or street. I will not recommend this shoe.
